I recall reading that here awhile back also.

I think that a reformed Night Ranger would fit the bill nicely or even the reunited Triumph.

Hell, we need a festival put together.

It'll never happen...

...but I'd love to see Rush and Journey tour together.

Journey can open for Rush and perform a lot of their more experimental material, pre/during/post Perry.

A setlist including Of a Lifetime, Kohoutek, Nickel & Dime, Winds of March, Troubled Child, Edge of the Blade, Frontiers, Rubicon, Back Talk, One More, Escape, People & Places, Precious Time, Daydream, Topaz, Mystery Mountain, etc. would be awesome and appeal to the Rush crowd rather well.

Saw Rush last summer, man great new music. Those guys can still deliver live.

That would be cool (Journey/Rush). Did you get a chance to see the Journey's 30th anniversary tour? They pulled out some of those great pre-perry era tunes. I never thought I would have had the chance to hear those tunes live. Definatley, overshadowed the lippin controversy for me.

Let's see, I have seen Cheap Trick at a couple County Fairs recently and they are playing New Year's Eve at the Indian Casino in the "Metropolis" that is Jackson, CA. (Pop. 2500).

Yea Journey as the opener. Sure.

Are you friends with Mike H from mogadore? If you are, then I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. The singer in a Metal band that is also a huge Survivor fan. He's a good friend of mine.

I think I may have spoken with you on BT?

I like the idea of Journey and Bad Co. or even just Paul Rogers. Neal and Paul have a bit of history together. Maybe we could get a small blues set thrown in there with those two - from the "Muddy Waters" blues days.

Toto. Toto could open for Journey on the US dates, and Journey could open for Toto in Europe. Any dates in Japan could be split 50-50.

Haha, Bryan Adams was asked and said "no." I know the reasons why and won't share them here, but it was a quick "no."

Journey opens

Pablo Cruise plays second

Jonas Brothers are the headline act.

When they come off the road with the triple bill set, they will be headlining on the rodeo circuit.

They open up in Guthrie Oklahoma, at the 4 H barnstorm fiesta. From there, they hop on the tractor and head north up to Bartelesville OK .

The Raised on Rodeo Tour. You gotta love it!!

They have got most of their triple bill and rodeo dates now posted at www.journeytheband.com

Boy was Steve Perry dead ass wrong when he begged the boyz not to fracture the Journey name!!!

Are there any rumors at all as to the other band/bands touring with Journey? I am new to posting on the board- but I have been reading posts for a long time now. Any help would be appreciated.

Deano, you mention Bryan Adams turning down the slot. Will he be touring next summer? He always puts on a great show. I would love to see him again.
