Yeah, and even me....

They can play the reverse race card and try to make it a feel good story, but Journey's male hard rock base will desert faster than the wheel in the sky is turning. Some chicks will stay put, but The Soprano's rub is almost already gone and forgotten.
Had they kept the band in tact, they could have announced a tour right after The Soprano's final episode and capitalized.
That ship has all but sailed, and Perry is getting credit for that anyway.
Dean's probably right on the 5,000 to 7,000 thing initially, but they will need strong support bands, or they will have to be a support band.
I liken this to when Kiss couldn't draw flies in the states in 1982, and played Brazil and drew a ton. The initial shows in South America and places where they don't always get concerts will do business on the Journey name. They will die quickly in the states and in Europe.

Why do you always bring up the race card?? I read your crap on TBJF. They felt that JSS was not the right fit. On selling tickets to ther shows I beleive this applies to all 80's bands not just Journey. They all need a good support band.

Almost anyone who listened to Generations could tell it wasn't the most well thought out piece of musical work! Aside from the horrible tracks, the production value of Generations was astonishingly bad. I know nothing about how CD's are even recorded. What I do know is that Generations sounded as though it wasn't even recorded in stereo. It also sounds like it was recorded in Schon's basement, instead of a recording studio! I'm still amazed that there are 5 people who actually think Generations was even remotely good! That CD was an abortion! Let's just hope that they leave the lead vocals on their next CD to Arnel. All I ask of Journey is that they don't make my ears bleed by having to listen to Neal, Cain, and Ross Valory, on vocals! It was too painful!

Why not talk about it? It has as much or more to do with who or what a person is than anything else. There's a big push in this country to be racially tolerant, and that's fine, but it doesn't mean it can't be discussed. Personally I couldn't care less where Arnel or any other person is from, but this bitching about people discussing race is getting really old. It's just another topic of who a person is.
