JSS doing Van Halens "So This Is Love"

I may have already posted this before, but here it is again anyway. I hope Jeff doesn't mind.

That has such a Led Zeppelin feel to it. He can do anything.

Related to Journey:
HSAS - Whiter Shade of Pale
Paul Rogers & Company - Stone Free, Little Wing

Also, recently picked up Tesla's "Reel to Reel" two disc set of covers. They did a nice job on most of the songs. Their version of War Pigs just doesn't seem to work for me though.

Off Rush's Feedback album. I like Rush's version better than the original. Has more punch to it.

Here is a soulful cover of Foolish heart. Sharon Bryant used to be with Atlantic Star and does an admirable job with this song.

That's a difficult thing to say to someone "pick one".

If I had to say "one" I couldn't do it. A few of my favorites :

Patti Smyth & Scandal: Only the Young (Covering Journey, of course)

Yngwie Malmsteen: Keep yourself alive (Queen...and I'm pretty critical of anyone covering Queen)

Neil Raza: Purple Rain (he did a WICKED guitar instrumental with it....no vocal)

Arch Rival: Revolution (Beatles)

Pretty Boy Floyd: Still Rock and Roll to Me (Billy Joel)

Children of Bodom: Oops, I did it again (anyone who will take a britney spears song, and make it WORTH listening to...got my vote)

Gotthard: Come Together (Beatles)

Chris Impelliterri: Over the Rainbow (we played this one night on the late shift when I was on radio, and I had people calling in for a week asking for "That Brian May one where he covers the wizard of oz". Doesn't sound anything LIKE Brian may to me..)

Talisman: Let Me Entertain You (I know JSS has covered a TON of stuff....but this is one of my favorites)
Talisman: Darling Nikki (He did this one rockin balls to the wall too)

7th Heaven: Every breath you take

and just so I can tip my hat, I have to include Sam Kinison's version of "Highway to hell" - this thread could keep me going for MONTHS...but I'll restrain myself.

No, John Farnham will always be the best voice behind that song.....even though too many people credit HIM for the song (he didn't write it..) and I don't RECALL heart doing it for charity.....but that may just be something I wasn't aware of..... The Alan Parsons version is kinda cool too if you've never heard it
