I've always loved People Get Ready, Hearing THE MAN sing it only made it that much more awesome.....any info on who he's singing with or what that was from?

That was from a show recorded for radio, back in 1978, called The King Biscuit Flower Hour. Journey were joined in the studio by the Tower Of Power horn section, Tom Johnston from The Doobie Brothers and Annie Sampson and Jo Baker from Stoneground. The latter two are the voices you hear along with Steve on this track. You can hear Good Times from the same session, on the Time3 set.
