Dean C. - Backbone?

Postby roycap » Mon Dec 31, 2007 11:20 pm

How come Dean C. never has anything to say? I'd like to hear some comments from him every now and then. Seems to me he is muzzled and a schon/cain marionette. I'd like to know if he ever reached out to Augeri or Soto after they were canned. A little disengenuois to praise them while they are leading your group and then drop them like they never existed.

He is a puppet and does as he is told, it's that or the unemployment line. He is smart in some ways, he does as he is told.
When in doubt, DUCK!

I can't see anything more on what needs to be said here.

Good drummer, good not great singer, Neal's personal drummer, absolutely zero backbone. Would not want to be teammates with him.

Deano - do you know if he ever reached out to Augeri or Soto afterwards? I realize it was not his decision and I am sure those guys do as well, but it would be nice if he at least called to say "Hey, Sorry - good luck".

How much does a hired hand like Dean C. make? Is he paid a per diem per show?

I'm just guessing here, but he's probably a limited shareholder in that he is on a straight salary...but he gets some small percentage of specific profits, like merch.

I'll bet my left nut that Dean and Deen have chugged a beer or two together.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

In all fairness, Deen was never Computer/Internet saavy. He tried, posted a couple times. Things said got blown outta proportion, taken out of context, he got raked over the coals...especially after his "interview" with 'Drew. I doubt we will EVER hear anything on the record from him again.

That being said, I agree that he knows where his bread is buttered. He owes Neal everything so he is smart enough to toe the line.

And my understanding is he is a full but likely not equal member of Journey.

I agree there really is not much that needs to be said, There were some "interesting" comments in that last interview to say the least. I always thought in the few times I met him he was a decent guy.
He was always very nice and apreciative. However I found the whole situation and his not reaching out to Steve Augeri after he left the tour and then after the announcement last year kind of odd and strange in a way since they seemed to be so close and he called him His "brother" and all.
I agree he knows where his bread is buttered so to speak. It is too bad.

Never. Always respected Deen's attempt at sobriety. If we frank together, and he fell off the wagon and rolled over the cliff, I could never forgive myself. I still should have been invited to go fishing with RV, DC and cocksucker Stu  , but I had a different kind of fun with Soto and the the gang in Orlando. Some of you know what I am talking about. And for the record, Soto fuckin cheated at the NBA 3 point game. I beat his sorry ass every time!

My team is 12-0 and ranked 4th in the nation. You know this boy doesn't waste time watching the unwatchable, rigged, NBA. That's Jeff's thing. I tried to get him to a NHL game. He's going, he just doesn't know it yet. It will be playoffs when he gets back. He will dig it.
