There's a lady at work that says that all the time. Next time she says it, I'm going to tell her that that phrase has been banished as of 2008.

You know what I hate? When you say "excuse me" to someone (or apologize for anything in general) and they say "You're fine"- that just pisses me off for some reason, and it needs to GO!!!

Southern women intoning in their horrendous drawls, "You go, girl!"...and it's actually legal grounds for a verdict of innocence in a karaoke bar manslaughter case. North of the Mason-Dixon line, mind you.

"at the end of the day" - heard that one WAY too many times this year

"process improvement" - big deal in my company these days. My thought about that one? - how 'bout you just get off your lazy asses and do the work you're being paid to do, instead of sitting around whining about it all day. Unfortunately I've been charged with managing a 'process improvement' project so I can't really say that to them, much as I'd like to!

Off the hook
24/7
Bling

And the thing at work that makes me go completely ape-shit is when someone will stand in the center of the open doorway of my office and say "Knock knock!"

Now I completely understand why weapons aren't allowed to be brought to work.

I've been lobbying to get rid of "24/7" for years. Fucking just STOP that already!!!

I want "son" to go away. People who have to call other people "son". "Let's go, son.."
"Shit, son, that was whack!!"

Oh yeah... and "whack" needs to go too.

How about the phrase, "ya heard??" from a certain people after they make a statement. Some have even perfected this down to maybe one word,..."yheard?"

"LMAO", "LOL" and every other bit of hideous "TXT SPK". The parasite of online discussion boards and no doubt a fair share of school essays.
