Watched her speak on CSPAN.

Smart and good speaker but came off as a clone of Barack. Actually more intense and wound up.

At the meet & greet after, a guy started to ask her about the Clinton campaign strategy, she put a finger up, told him "Hold on" and walked away to schmooze other folks.

Within 10 minutes she was whisked outta there never getting back to him. Seems false to me.

Anyone supporting them? What are your thoughts on her, them?

Maybe she didn't want to talk shit about other candidates and realized that wasn't someone who was going to ask an intelligent question, like, say, about actual issues or her husband's policy positions? I mean, you've got a chance to ask a question of the potential next first lady, and you can't come up with anything more intellectual than asking about someone else's campaign?

I don't know if this was just a regular person or a reporter asking the question, but if it was a media person, they tend to try to ask questions designed to get a certain amount of mudslinging going, rather than something that will get a legitimate answer. "Obama slams Hillary" is a better headline than "Obama unveils Education plan," even though one topic is completely useless and the other infinitely relevant.

He seemed like a college kid just asking a question. Then again so was Kerry's "Don't Taze Me Bro" guy.

Kerry could've prevented that whole thing by dealing directly with the kid or asking the guards to stop.

Showed what loser he really is.

True, there's traps to be wary of but what gains my respect is facing them intelligently instead of the duck and cover routine that's the norm.

Yeah, that loser actually went to Vietnam and faced bullets for this country, but the asshole in the White House snorted his way out of weekend warrior work. I see now. Thanks for clearing up what "loser" really means.

I think Obama would be better than Hillary. On the other hand, all the Republicans seem to want to continue fighting the George Bush war with Iraq. As far as Ron Paul goes, Fox News won't even let him on air to debate.

Personally, I think the whole political process in the USA has become a fucking joke.

I've said before - I am neither Republican nor Democrat in my beliefs pertaining to politics. I make my decisions based on my conscience. Kerry is an asshole, Bush is an asshole, Hilary sucks ass as a candidate and so does Obama. Any questions?

Listen...If you don't like John Kerry, fine. To blame the guy for the action a quick-trigger cop took is completely irresponsible and a stretch, beyond belief!

The best question I've heard asked on the campaign trail was by a guy in New Hampshire, who asked Rudy Guliani if he was going to provide Secret Service protection to his mistresses! I nearly pissed myself when the guy asked that question! Leave it to a a guy from New England to go for the jugular, when a guy from New York is involved!

Chief, for your info, Kerry commanded a Swift Boat. Far cry from a supply tech. Jumped off the boat and saved a man's life. I assume George W Bush never considered such a feat.

My next door neighbor has the silver star for holding a hill in Korea by himself. He doesn't have it displayed ANYWHERE. It just sits in a desk drawer. I got to see it when I got home from bootcamp because he was proud that I went to serve.

My point was this Dean. I don't care if Kerry has 600 purple hearts. He was the one who made sure everybody knew about them unlike my neighbor who served proudly, lost a shitload of friends and keeps his medal tucked away QUIETLY where no one can see it unless he wants them too. He doesn't parade it around and go look at me I'm a war hero.

Sorry CHF...

I don't agree with you, AT ALL!!!!! Comparing a private civilian to a guy who has been a politician for over 30 years is absurd! There isn't a politician who I have EVER come across in my life, whose service record wasn't public knowledge, whether that record was good, bad, or ugly! I'm pretty sure the entire free world knows that John McCain was a POW. I'm also sure the entire free world knows of W's lack of service record. When you become a politician and live in a fishbowl, none of this stuff stays a secret...even if you wanted it to. Like I said to a previous poster, if you hate Kerry or don't agree with the guy's politics, I'm pretty okay with that, but let's not just make shit up that's beyond ridiculous!

I think Obama is a better option than Billary. He is anti-war, and I think he will undo the damage that Bush did the status we have with our allies around the world. If he doesn't make president, he would make a good Secretary of State. He was a constitutional professor before running for office. His students said that he was a listener, unlike the other professors. This guy is completely the opposite of the Texas maverick cowboy that we now have in office. That's exactly what our country needs IMO.

Dan has a point. We, as Journey fans, have been through a lot of tough times. There's no reason to quit now. I'll quit when the band quits. I'm sorry for what they did to Jeff, but even Jeff would tell you to stop the negativity and embrace what's to come. He's that kind of guy. I think we all need to be more like that.

Arnel? I'm not sure yet, I'll decide when I know more. But until then, I'm just going to take the 'hide and watch' approach to it. But Arnel hasn't done one damn thing wrong to anyone here. I can't hate someone just because I'm mad.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I guess in a way it's like being an American. Are we going to stop being patriotic just because we have a fucking asshole as a leader? Likewise, are we going to stop being Journey fans just because we don't like the former singer being replaced again?
