Where is he from,never heard him before or the rest of the Rokkens, or Crokkens,or Smokkens .Dokkens.is it a type of music,or do they all have weird names

Oh, yeah... Cool stuff! I never really was into Vandenberg, but I always liked that song. Liked his work in Whitesnake as well. I used to have a Whitesnake unplugged live CD (import) called "Starkers In Tokyo" that was just D.C. and A.V, I think. Also had the Whitesnake disc that came out the previous year called "Restless Heart", featuring A.V. on guitar. Interesting album... some good songs, but definitely a throwback to the old, old school Whitesnake (pre S/T).
