Friga = Cain's actual last name

Fro = self-explanatory...I'm hoping that's the one that "makes sense to" you.

If not, stick around for some edumacation, my young Jedi warrior...

Dan, I have some very colorful video footage of you from South Bend in which you were doing your share of ripping. And it was funny, too.

I totally agree, DP. Notice the "footage" of me was OFF of this site. Shit, I'm as politically incorrect as anyone, but I don't do it here...and if I do Andrew only has to tell me once to stop and I do. Shit, I can't wait to get wrecked with a lot of you and make fun of ALL Journey members past and present.   And I can assure you, Arnel will NOT be spared. :P

Ah, Dan, I'm starting to get it now. I was beginning to really worry about you based on your pre Arnel posts.

OK, as long as you admit it. I gotta tell ya, some of your 'cheerleading' is a little contrary to some statements I and others have heard from you. As for Arnel, I have come to the conclusion that I don't have to 'wait and see' or 'give him a chance' to determine that I don't like him. He sings well enough, that's not the issue. But he's far from the "total package". As someone recently said, if the youtube was good enough for Neal Schon to determine he'd like to give this guy a shot and fly him across the pacific, then it's also good enough for me to know that he's not for me.

I was at a show at the Ram's Head in Baltimore last night, in which the singer had what I consider to be the "total package"~he had a killer voice (absolutely the LEGACY sound) and a performance ability (ie "stage presence") to go along with it. Frontiers was on fire, and I have never seen them better. I would post some clips from the show, but perhaps there would be people here who would take the opportunity to pick a fight over them, so I guess I'll keep them to myself.

p.s. Dan-o... the footage was off this site because I chose to keep it off the site. You better be nice to me...!

Hmmm... that's better! U my bitch now!!!

Thanks for the compliments. We had a great time. I had a hat too, but I somehow wind up looking like a little boy whenever I wear a hat... The Rams Head was great. I drank a LOT and yet only had a mild buzz. 2 margaritas and 2 NY Lemon Ball shooters at ESPNzone and then about 6 Amaretto Sours at the venue. I bet I could drink you men under the table... 8)

Those shots were called "New York Lemon Drops"... not lemon ball. Susie, have you ever seen a lemon ball? I can't tell you how nice it is to be typing without bubblehead behind me making sounds comparable to a skipping CD recording of a Sweedish tourette's sufferer having an episode. (Hi Travis!)

PS... We ordered 4 pizzas last night... I KNOW we didn't eat all that. I'm guessing the maids got an early lunch.

As someone else pointed out, this site isn't edited. Andrew will let almost anyone speak their mind, and I've always respected the hell out of the guy for that. When and if Journey puts their site back online, you can check out BackTalk. You can read all about "dreamy" lead singers and wiggles. Just keep in mind that EVERYTHNG you read on that site is edited and nobody's real opinion! The moderators on that site could learn a thing or two about how this site is run. In spite of the criticism Andrew gets on this site, I believe this site does as good of a job policing itself than any site I've ever been on! Also, this site truly has a GREAT group of people, and some of the more interesting and intelligent people I've ever come across, on the internet! I think if you visit the other site (assuming it's brought back up, at some point), you'll quickly run back here for some more substantive conversations!

I don't think you're really speaking whole truths there. I'd be the first person to jump in line and punch my ticket on the back-talk-had-it's-problems ride. However, I think what you saw was when a post was not in line with Journey's game plan, it was simply removed. You never read anything there that was 'edited' per see. Is there a distinction? sure, a subtle one. More often than not, however, you would see threads simply closed down. I don't think CJ or the other mods had the time to read each thread and edit it to Nealpoleon's idiotic satisfaction.

I will beg to differ with you regarding free-reign here. It's become quite aparent that all an ex-whack-talk freak job has to do here to get similar moderation (closing of threads) for so said freak-job to yell 'race' like fire in a crowded theater. It seems that race has become the catch world to label any viewpoint that is contrary to the rosy-colored horseshit in Journeyville these days...and it seems that such a word seems to catch mgmt's eye here enough to create the same general atmosphere.

Sadly, the degrees of seperation between the two boards is shrinking fast and that's why I post here about 90% less than I used to...and why some don't bother at all.

Strangegrey...

I didn't, for one minute, suggest this site is pefect. No site is! I understand that this site certainly isn't going to be for everyone and some may even find this site to be offensive. I listen to Howard Stern everyday, and I know many people who find the guy offensive and repulsive. Different strokes for different folks! I found the endless syrupy shit posted on Jackass Talk VERY offensive!

As for "edited" or not, it's purely semantics. I agree that posts were removed, ENDLESSLY, on that site. I think those dopey moderators had a quota to meet. I can also tell you that I have personally received emails from CJ telling me what I should post on the board (as opposed to any criticism I might have). I don't know CJ personally, but I can tell you that I was appalled to get an email from ANY mod telling me what my opinion should be, and I told her as much! I have never received one single email from Andrew telling me how I should express myself on this board or what my opinions should be! I NEVER EVER EVER used offensive language on that "other" site and was always VERY respectful to people. I simply challenged some of the nonsense I used to see going on there, on a daily basis. I couldn't have been that offensive over there, because I was never once banned from the site. I simply made the decision to ban myself, after reading endless posts from too many horny, 40 somethings who were stroking their nipples to pictures of Augeri's red leather pants! It was honestly nauseating to me! I'd much rather listen to Dean go on one of his tirades (even if it's against me) than listen to that mindless shit!

Over the last couple years in the life of BT, I didn't post there much. I did however get in trouble twice for asking when the band was going to comment on tapegate. I was told twice by CJ that the band would, in fact, comment on the allegations. Of course, that never happened.
