Journey/Survivor wrote:Jimi Jamison was the lead vocalist of Survivor from 1984-1988, and he sang "Burning Heart" "The Search Is Over" "High On You" "I Can't Hold Back" "Is This Love" "Didn't Know It Was Love" and several others. Jamison also sang the theme song "I'm Always Here" from Baywatch.

He always wore a berret.

I listened to a lot of Survivor back in the 80's and can't say that I remember a single Survivor "hit" between "Eye of the Tiger" and the release of "Vital Signs", which probably explains why Dave Bickler is so obscure to most people. I know you love Survivor, but I wouldn't consider ANY of those songs, aside from "Eye of the Tiger" to be a "hit"! By the way, what the hell was with the goofy beret Bickler always had on his coconut? Was the guy moonlighting with the Guardian Angels?

Well, it all depends on how big of a "hit" your talking about.
Eye Of The Tiger was the only smash hit that they did with Bickler, but they had several other lesser hit's with Bickler.
American Heartbeat peaked at #17 on the Billboard chart.
Poor Man's Son peaked at #33 on Billboard
And other Bickler/Survivor songs that charted were....
Somewhere In America
Summer Nights
The One That Really Matters
Caught In the Game
Not that it has anything to do with Survivor, but in recent years Dave Bickler is the singer on those Budweiser "Real Men Of Genius" tv and radio commercials.
