For anyone else who's lost shit, deleted shit, or reformatted shit,
http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ Find out what connection your hard drive is, IDE or SATA, and get an External Hard Drive Enclosure to act as a docking station for your hard drive, and use another PC to run that program. I just did this this week and got back ALOT of stuff for a co-worker who's PC got a virus that wiped out her boot sector and partition.
There's a few more programs out there if you look

Thanks for the help T-Bone, but Keyboards are totally different than computers. I'm getting in touch with Yamaha today, to see if anything can be done, but I'm pretty sure I'm screwed.
And to answer your question Moon, yes you can back your files up. My keyboard uses a flash drive to store files externally. I did a "save all files", looked at my songs and they were all gone. I tried to open every file on the flash drive, and they're not there. I don't know what happened, but I'm friends with the Yamaha rep for the whole east coast. I'll see if there's anything else I can do.
I took the day off to see if I can remember ANY of the songs I was working on...I'll see what I can do. It'll be alright either way, I'll just get back to it and try to write some kick-ass replacements for everything I've lost.
Thanks everyone for the PM's and messages. Take care,
Jim
