I dont care if you like him or not but he is an amazing performer. And he gets ratings! If a show were to say MJ was on it the ratings shoot through the roof.Plus it wasnt "self Named' it was given to him by Elizabeth Taylor. Get a Grip!

Give me a break. I picked the biggest albums of '87 along with a few others. Has nothing to do with melodic rock other than some of the albums fit that genre. Get over it.

Not sure if Thriller is the best selling album any more - Stateside its the Eagles Greatest Hits and even in the UK - Bad outsold Thriller - i think it was once but not any more - altho it is a pretty decent pop album.
