Def Leppard's Hysteria gets my vote. I'm just impressed with the way they delivered most of the album live.

You have got to be kidding me or you are just a complete douche.

King of pop? Ok moron, I guess we all agree with his "self named" label.

Get the fuck off this board and don't come back until you pop that puss between your fuckin ears.

Ok, the man who has the highest selling record, Thriller, Gimme a break, there is no other artist who has topped his level on stage, any hater of him will shut their mouths if they were to see him on stage. I dont care if you like him or not but he is an amazing performer. And he gets ratings! If a show were to say MJ was on it the ratings shoot through the roof.Plus it wasnt "self Named' it was given to him by Elizabeth Taylor. Get a Grip!

Dude, this thread is about our favorite, not about who we thought sold the most. By the way, what time is it in the Philippines right now 4everkop?

4everkop wrote:Gimme a break, there is no other artist who has topped his level on stage.

Yeah, and no other artist spent a fortune turning their once normal face into 10 pounds of unwanted scar tissue either, that could have been accomplished with a 50cent Bic and a half gallon of super unleaded.

Now down to the real business...Whitesnake, Def Kitty and Runs N Goses were really good. There was at least one song from each of the albums you've included that I liked or thought was good. Personally though U2 was probably the one I liked the most out of the choices available, yet there were other groups in 87' that I liked even more.

Jacko was rock, too. Dude always had guitars happening.

Off the Wall is my favorite MJ album. Actually, it's my only MJ album.

Get your facts straight...Thriller is NOT the "highest selling record" and hasn't been for quite some time. That honor belongs to the Eagles Greatest Hits! As for Michael Jackson...Sure, the guy HAD some talent! That said, he's a child-molesting, pedophile, FREAK!

Some mighty impressive albums on that list, Dave. Three stand out to me - GnR, Aerosmith and U2. Permanent Vacation was my first CD ever - I was rolling with cassettes and vinyl up to that point. I heard 13's first CD was Arrival.

I had to vote for GnR. There are few albums that I specifically remember listening to for the first time, and that is one of them. I made several copies on cassette for friends, who were equally blown away. Looking very forward to Chinese Democracy if it comes out in my lifetime.

That would be Duran Duran's Liberty in 1990.

Honestly, Andrew should give you a one month holiday for embarrassing his site with that comment.  :P Did Friga give you and autographed keytar or something? What's with you and that album? I bet even the Journey guys laugh when they read your posts about that meadow muffin of an album.

I bet you the guys in Journey laugh when they hear ANYONE actually liked Generations. Neal, Jon, and Valory are probably thinking to themselves "These jackass fans will buy ANYTHING, even if our awful voices are singing on it"!!!!! I hope to god on their next release that they leave the vocals to Pineda! I won't even drop a dime on the thing until I know for sure someone locked the mics up and hid them from Frig, Frack, and Valory!
