What's your favorite from these albums in 1987?

My choice is still "Pride" by White Lion. Great guitar work on that album by Vito Bratta.

Who voted for "Tango in the Night"? Good album but I didn't think it would get any hits.

That was released in '86. It isn't on that poll, either. It should've been, though, but the site I've looked these up on didn't have it listed. Bums.

Paula Abdul???? Holy shit...you need to roll out some more Air Supply! It's still Hysteria for me. For me, Hysteria is in the top 5, EVER. I thought it was that good. Here's an idea...after we get all the results, let's vote for the top album of the entire 80's. College football can't seem to figure out how to get a playoff system. Let's have one of our own  I think to keep it interesting, we should keep Journey releases off the list, because they're guaranteed to win on this forum! It's a given we all like Journey. It's interesting to see everyone's other musical tastes.

Animal is my all time favorite DL song. Hysteria was a great record.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Can you read what website you are on?
What's the point of running a poll - and the time it takes to start one - if it includes options that have zero chance of being selected?

Actually I kind of like it. Looking at the top selling albums for each year. Yes, we know where the votes are going to go, but it's fun.

Umm..Some of those have been selected in some of the polls. Just look at this one...2 votes for Fleetwood Mac and two for INXS, both pop bands, not melodic rock. I guess I was right.

Ever heard "Hungry" or "Lady of the Valley" from "Pride"? Those two songs alone make "Slippery When Wet" sound like background music to a gay porn film.

I was much more impressed with White Lion live in concert, saw them open for Aerosmith many moons ago. Sure, I thought Mike Tramp was a hottie, but there was something about his voice I just wasn't getting in the videos/cd. Not sure if it was the way he over-pronounced or sounded almost childlike on some phrases. But for some reason his voice IMO came across a whole lot better LIVE.
