I think it's a conspiracy to piss off Deano. And that's just wrong.

Andrew, if you don't come in, I will call you 3 times a day, and shoot the shit, take all your time, and maybe talk to your old lady.

hard to chose this one Deano...both awesome and both deliving me different music for my different moods, but if I had to pick, Survivor would get my vote 9 days out of 10.

No problems with Survivor, although, their internal politics could compete with Journey's. I prefer Survivor with Jamo as lead singer, especially on Two Hot For Sleep, which I thought was pretty solid for them but very underrated. I even prefer him on the "older" hits over Bicker; I just thought he brought a "smoother" sound to the music.

No probs with Bickler as Bud Light's vocalist on the "Real Men of Genius."

Too Hot To Sleep is a fantastic album - hardly a duff track.

Here's where it gets interesting...
Stack Survivor's catalogue against Journey's and I PERSONALLY think there are less fillers in the Survivor albums than there are with Journey's catalogue.
And you know what - I prefer Survivor's ballads over Journey's :)

There ya go!!

I will add that no one does a melodic rock anthem like Journey do. And Perry and Schon have no peers.

TWO BIT COCKSUCKER!

Dude, seriously. Survivor? Give me a fucking break. Byut then again, you hold Toto in high regard, so consider the source.

Whatever, my boy BA is releasing new music, touring large venues, and going to the HOF. Meanwhile Survivor is alive on a MR forum only.

Andrew, the members in BA's band ALL are better than Survivors guys and YOU know it.

Ha ha.
Told people.
They're underrated. They fly under the radar relatively (compared to jrny) b/c Frankie's always been content to do so but they are so damn close, if not all the way to being Journey's equal.
There's not much to choose from among the 3 of these bands and the quality of their bodies of work, BA, Jnry and Srvr.

No band deliberately flies under the radar. Survivor always has been an opening band.

Red13, you too are exposed. Here's why.

You are on record as saying Generations is the best Journey album.

Busted.

So you Survivor fags...your argument for Survivor is that "they were alot like Journey, or sounded like Journey." You have got to be fucking kidding. The Outfield was compared to Journey much more than Survivor.

Who's comparing? They are both melodic rock/AOR bands of the same era. Both great bands.

And Bryan...he's in his own league when you are talking aout classic solo artists. ALL provided me with a shitload of great tunes!

Funny you mention that..

When Jimi Jamison was here he mentioned after "The Search Is Over" that when groupies came up to him in the '80s they said "Oh my God...I thought that was a Journey song". Good laugh from the crowd and he seemed very pleased that he was in that realm with Journey. Hell...who wouldn't be?

Generations is better than all of them, dicko.

Note: Straight face.
My top Journey album.

Specialize in treason, do you, Col.?

A proud Chicagoan not backing their best band against a wetback and now a Penn State fan taking barbs at his own coach, proud owner of multiple national championships and 6 undefeated seasons.

You know you're alright when the wolves are at the door after back-to-back-to back 9+win seasons, 3 straight ranked finishes, 3 straight bowl wins including a BCS berth and W.

I was looking at Adams' wikipedia page and found this gem:

Campaigns/Awareness raising
In 1992, Adams became the centre of a dispute on Canadian Content regulations which were changed as a result.

In the mid 1990s, Adams successfully campaigned for the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary with Greenpeace Chairman David McTaggart (the two distributed over 500,000 postcards at concerts around the world encouraging politicians to vote yes for the creation of the sanctuary).

After a performance in Amman, Jordan Adams pleased his Arab fans when they heard (during an interview with a local TV channel) that he was not a supporter of the U.S. invasion of Iraq[citation needed].

Adams & his good buddy Rockindeano have worked with the animal rights group PETA to protest KFC's treatment of chickens. They wrote to KFC Canadian CEO in November 2007 [17] asking them to halt the practice of raising genetically altered chickens with no beaks or feathers. They were also both featured as a nominee for Sexiest Vegetarians of the Year.

WTF?
