Survivor vs. Bryan Adams

Why does there have to be a competition between Bryan Adams and Survivor? Personally I like them both a lot. BA is a bigger star, and Survivor is a great band. Why start anything over it?

I never actually said anything bad about BA. I just pointed out to Deano that since he only seems to like Journey and Bryan Adams that he can't objectivly comment on what bands I or anyone else like.

Ben Orr of The Cars grew up a few streets over.
And Billy Morris of Warrant grew up a few streets away from mine too. We all wen't to the same high school.

Glass Tiger opened up on ROR for 90% of the shows. The Outfield opened 5; Honeymoon Suite opened 2 (if you count opening for The Outfield and Journey as 1), and Concrete Blonde 1 (if you count opening for Glass Tiger and Journey as 1).

Back to the "debate" at hand, I think both artists are good and have certainly contributed to our musical pasts, but, one cannot deny that BA has had much more success at both the music store and in airplay than Survivor has.

If we're going to talk about the consistancy and hits, its rather pointless especially when we talk about Faithfully and TSIO. TSIO smokes Faithfully chartwise. So.....

GT did not open at Mountain Aire. As I posted in another thread, Device (sp?), HMS, and The Outfield opened Mountain Aire 1986. Cyndy or Lora care to chime in on that? Andrew, I believe Device/Devise was an Aussie band...female lead singer, a bit "electronic"...
