But isn't a civil trial of an AQUITTED individual also "unjust prosecution"?

Being found not guilty is not the same thing as being found innocent. That's why a civil trial is allowed to happen even if someone is found to be not guilty in a criminal trial. The details of the criminal trial are then used in a civil trial where the burden of proof is different.

Unjust prosecution is state or federal and refers to criminal prosecution. Again= OJ was not acquitted.

A civil trial does not cover guilt or innocence. It is more of a judgement of responsibility.

If you are driving drunk and you hit a tree and it falls over and hits an illegally parked car and kills two people, you would probably not be prosecuted for vehicular homicide.

If survivors/family members or even the hospital where the victims might have been treated and there are outstanding bills decide to sue you in civil court for monies/fees/pain and suffering, a civil court may find you "responsible". Alto they could also rule in your favor since the car was parked illegaly and had it not been the tree would not have fallen on them even you hit it while driving drunk,

Sorry - no more energy for the semantics game.

Yeah I was watching the Juice's segment on the news tonight. He didn't look like a happy camper for sure. I think they should have wheeled Judge Judy in there instead cause she's a bit more convincing when it comes to administering a full on ass chewing.

What I don't understand is how can she get away with calling him that? Every place I worked we had to be really careful not to say certain things to certain people. I knew a guy who nearly got fired at work for calling someone lazy once in the workplace.

Bail is too good for him.
You know he'll have a nice cushy cell with no roomies.

Throw him in with his own kind
Let the vermin feed upon him

Rot in hell & relive every moment of the horror he inflicted tenfold adfinitum til the end of time.
Sick bastard, I can't even think of torture cruel enough for the likes of the onery creature
but I'm sure death will not free him of his pain.
Run as fast as your bronco can take your sorry ass
but the ultimate justice will have the last laugh!

Maybe this judge will throw his guilty ass in jail for awhile. I can't believe the stupid fucker actually asked his bail bondsman to do that and expected him not tip off the authorities.
