First of all, this is not uncommon around here. People do this all the time, including ME...lawn mower, tractor, four wheeler, or horse. What looks like a back road of some sort usually has a highway designation so that state or fed money can maintain it. So when <whoever> is out joyriding, then they very easily could be on a 'highway'. Second, this looks a little staged. I just can't believe a good-ole-boy southern cop (usually a deputy sheriff) will mace someone so quickly. They'd let him finish his business while they just laughed. I mean, what's the hurry?

But it is a funny video. Btw, country music star George Jones has a well-known story about his lawn mower. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Jones

And look => http://www.sandiego10best.com/uncategor ... er-dwi-dui
It happens in California too.

THINGS TO MAKE YOU GO "HMMMMMM...."

Postby STORY_TELLER » Mon Jan 21, 2008 7:21 am

I believe these things happen, but as far as this incident captured on video? Could be real. Could be fake. The actions feel reel, but I have to question why the sound quality was so good.

You can hear the cop talking in the car loud and clear. You can hear the wind whipping in the window. This leads me to believe the interior of the car is microphoned or the cop is (or both).

When the cop exits the car, however, you can hear both men talking loud and clear. Lawnmower guy starts talking before the cop is at his closest point, yet he sounds just as loud before the cop reaches his closest position to him. At no point does lawnmower guy sound distant, even though he's further away from the cop.

I can believe the cop would be wearing a wireless LAV microphone, but why does the lawnmower guy sound equally loud to the cop at all times? Even a shotgun mic mounted on the cop car wouldn't yield such clear equally volumed sound from the lawnmower guy as the cop.

Unless both men are wearing wireless LAV's, which would mean this is staged.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but as a life long southerner, I've never experienced it.

you do get a tractors in your way a lot and that gets very annoying because the tractor is going 15 or 20 miles an hour and your in a no pass zone so your ass is stuck behind it until you get in a spot to try and go around.

That's been a prank in the south ever since George Jones really did that back in the '70s. There was even a country song about a guy whose wife took the keys to his truck but "forgot about his old John Deere".

Some people just wanna believe the South is full of idiots. This stuff obviously cannot happen anywhere else but in the south. I'm a southerner and I can promise this isnt a regular occurrence here and I know it can happen in other citys so anyone who wants to poke fun at the south then have the balls to confront some of these good ole southern boys and say it to their face, not on your keyboard.

Now I'm not exactly an expert on the art of male urination, but it seems to me that while a guy is peeing he isn't exactly a threat to those around him unless he aims in their direction. That's why I think this is fake! :D

i could understand maybe fifty or sixty years ago someone thinking those things about the south but in 2008 we are very much as normal as the rest of the country.we've come a long way in a short period of time.

I hope no one actually thinks this is a real video? C'mon...this "routine" has been done so many times in the past. For you notherners replace the mower with a Big Wheel and you have the same joke. ;)
