There sure are a lot of political threads here!

Postby AntonioDJ » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:11 am

Ok, I have given up hoping for a Harem Scarem fan to post with me in their forum. The Journey forum seems to be the place everyone goes. However is this the Journey forum though or "Crossfire"? I'm half expecting Michael Kinsley and Pat Buchannan to sign in here.

Discussing politics almost always turns into a battle. Musical differences are bad enough, but politics is a powder keg ready to explode. I understand that being pretty new here and not being able to post often, this probably means nothing to a lot of you. Just some food for thought. Call it a draw and move on.

You may now throw stones at the newbie.

Sadly, it will be ignored..or at least the idea it espouses.

After all, it seems to be a favorite pastime here.

Enjoy

(For what it's worth, I liked the humor laced post)

It's only going to get worse as we get closer to the November elections! That is if we actually have elections. That is if Dubya doesn't attack Iran and then pull National Security Presidential Directive 51 out of his butt and cancel the elections and stay in office.

Perry has already been disected to well a dead horse... ;-) and Journey... well until we actually hear what
the band sounds like, most of us dont give a crap anymore.. but this journey forum here is STILL the best place to be.

Hey, I can handle the hazing. Politics are just boring. Go into the voting booth and pull the leaver whichever way you want. No one cares what anyone else thinks and no one is going to persuade anyone else to change their minds.

Now if I could get some Harem fans to post a few forums below - THAT would be worth fighting for! :)

For music anyway. The political threads sound as bad as the real blow hards. Pointless.

Thanks for the welcome! I actually joined a few weeks ago and have read here for awhile. Seems like a lot of people say that but it's true. I am in sales and travel quite a bit. At least it has something to do with music though. (Karoake discs, DJ equipment, that sort of thing). Well I guess it's sort of music anyway.

Once in awhile I have some time to play on the laptop when I'm not out and about.

I can see that!

It was fun, even the hazing. Got ta catch a flight tomorrow - yet again! Since I found some Harem fans, I will certainly try to visit more. Well, I always read, but it's nice chatting a bit with people that have similar interests. I haven't been home for more than 2 weeks straight in over a year!

I think you're reading too much into that comment, Drew. I think he was referring to the Journey forum and whether he admits it or not I'm pretty sure he was kidding. The poster that was referred to seems to be taking it the right way. It's all good, boss. 8)

I'm sure it was all in good fun, but that guy did say he wanted to back a truck over my head in a thread tonight. Have no idea why, but maybe in a few days when I can get back on I'll catch on. If I posted anything other than fun stuff just PM me. I'll try to check it as soon as I can.
