However, I am not going to tangle with you TVL tonight because I'm tired and you are loony (not as in "Perryloon" either).

Bullshit. Moonbeam expressed why she wasn't supporting the band rather logically. NIG, on the other hand, threw the "crap" and "real band" comments in there, but they weren't that big of a deal. Especially not enough to warrant your "derailed" comment. The back and forth banter was pretty tame and civil and that is all that is asked. I see no problems with this thread and while I can't speak for Andrew, I doubt he does either. Let it go.

I didn't say anything that bad. I was just having fun with the "real band" comment. SJ "gets it". I have no problem with anyone who wants to support Journey. I do find it amazing that Dean does, tho. I can't be the only one. :)

Well, when you mentioned Jeff and him being Deano's friend, I thought that was a little below the belt, that's all.

not going... if they come to iowa, i might go see them. But not traveling a 1000 miles and spend over 1000.00 for my wife and i to see a tribute band... loved it at the Aladdin Agueri rocked the house then. but i am not that excited by this new line up.

MOONIE ROCKS for sticking up for what she believes in...

Rick

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------would go in 2 seconds if it was with Steve Augeri singing, missed my chance in 06 to see that at mandaly bay. sorry can and will not justify paying money to fly all the way to there to see them with this lineup. I agree 100% with you, Rick, sooo not worth the time or money.

It's not a grudge for me Rick, I have just made a choice to not spend
anymore cash on them is all.
There are so many musicians that I don't even have one cd from that I love.
So when I do go out music shopping it will be those that I expand my collection with.
You've not seen me take the low road in any of this and it kinda bugs me that just because
some aren't ars kissing this new line up it's seen as holding a grudge.
Just my two coppers is all Sir.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with you, moonbeam. It is not about holding a grudge. It is about getting lied to and disaponinted time and again by the band. Everyone has their own opinion and personal taste in music and who they prefer as a singer and what they think and believe. Does not make anyone right or wrong any more so than anyone else. Just a person;s own taste and opinion. If peope are not comfortable with the choices that the band has made for singer, it is our choice to support them or not to,
I disagree with how everything with both JSS and SA was handled and I have my own opinions on what and why it happened. I have seen the youtube clips of AP and I have never attacked him or put him down,. however in the same sense I don;t care for him and don;t agree with the bands choice or the way everything was handled. In that resepct it is not a grudge it is about what I want to and feel conmfortable spending the hard earned money on that I make. It bothers me as well that it is seen as holding a grudge if someone doesnot agree with the choice that the band has made, or go along with the group as a whole. I have always tried to state my opinion without attacking anyone here or in the band. It bothers me that not agreeing with the choice that the band has made and following what they say and do is thought of as a grudge. It is okay to not have the same opinion or taste that is what makes us different, If someone such as myself does not agree with them chosing AP and the what they handled the situation with JSS and SA and continuing to support Steve Augeri, does not make it wrong or holding a grudge or make someone a "retard" as I have been called in the past.
People are entitled to their own opinion and to express it constructively and without attacking anyone,.
does not make it wrong.

You're full of shit. Just minutes ago you said you wouldn't spend any money on this lineup, yet you would if Steve Augeri were in it; yet you don't like being lied to, but Steve Augeri basically did lie to you, but that's ok, because your dried up twat likes Augeri rivers.

You should seek help asap, Leslie. You're fuckin warped.

Sure did. However, it wasn't based on SA.

Also, I am going mostly to meet the fans.

At least I don't run around calling the band Exotic Journey and saying a tribute band blows away the real thing. LOL, THAT's funny.

ok, here comes a dog eating joke, I can feel it.

My next dog eating joke will be my first, and you know that, you spin doctor. I am just asking politely what has made you come around to supporting the band again, that's all.

Fair question. I remember Niggy getting called out saying he should be embarrassed by his av and handle. :D

Dean, don't you remember your relentless campaign to get me and JoePa off the Journey bandwagon during TG? It took a lot of bad decisions by the band to finally throw me off of it. Wish it never happened, but it did. Nothing to do with the race of the new singer. I don't care if he's from Mars if he can restore some dignity to the band again. But that is one hell of a task for anyone to pull off now.

BTW, my name and av are a homage to Neal's musical talent, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, we were all off the train during TG. Rerailed it, hit a tree, not pretty. So now it's going again.

And for you to be truly done with Journey, yet still be a passenger on the Van Halen bus, is mistifying to me.
