The inspiration behind the setting up of The Bryan Adams Foundation came from the success of the ‘Tsunami Guitar Fund’. Following the tragedy of the 2004 tsunami, Bryan Adams launched a project to benefit those who had been affected by the disaster. With the donation of a Stratocaster guitar from Fender, which was signed by 19 of the world’s greatest musicians, and a very kind donation from Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned who bought the guitar, two very important projects were financed:

I have seen the number as high as 15 million (USD).

sharpee signatures come off with denatured alcohol. As much as someone out there can assign value to 19 guitar greats on a regular run of the mill strat, I think that a guitar that has history attached to it is more worthy of a high price tag....like Clapton's Blackie or SRV's #1.

But it's whatever the market will deliver...

I agree. Besides, you wouldn't want that guitar anyway. It doesn't have Neal's autograph on it. :P

Larry, the sigs are the money. Hell they could have signed BA's everyday Fender, it would be no different. I do believe that was BA's everyday axe.
