Journey site to reopen Jan 29th

Hi, this is my first post, but i've been reading this forum for a very long time. I just wanted to comment that the article at the beginning of this thread and say to the few that are upset that the website hasn't re-opened yet, the article states that the website will be up on OR AROUND January 29th, so I'm not upset with the band for giving us false hope yet again.
Sorry, I'm not trying to cause a fight I just noticed that and thought it would be easily overlooked.

It's ok, we all know that Journey never does anything when promised. Refer to the Frontiers & Beyond DVD release, the RED13 EP release and then there are the Warfield and Houston 2005 DVD's that never happened at all.

Sorry, I'm not trying to cause a fight I just noticed that and thought it would be easily overlooked.

I suspect that you haven't read the entire thread, as this has already been addressed.

As far as the band giving out false hope...if there are folks out there that *solely* attach the label of false-hope to whether or not the band launches the website on a specified date, they are either living in a fantasy world or don't get bothered by much at all (run for public office, if you're in this category). It's clear to note and suspect that the idea of 'false hope' or 'anger with the band' is most likely (with respect to the 'collective' of those with such emotions) attached to other stimuli and not whether the band's website has been launched in a timely fashion.

Hey... don't laugh. One of my bosses ACTUALLY posted a directive notice that said all assignments are due on Feb. 30th. I asked her if that was set in stone. She was dead serious. :shock:

Webmaster: Hmm not sure mate, might put it up on the 29th dont know, maybe the 30th, see how we feel.

It's weird. I don't like how they did the photos of the guys that are no longer in the band in the "band" section. Tons of great pictures of those guys and they picked those?

There are now 2 prominent Journey forums. You can now choose which style best suits you and be happy with it - or even use both. The tone of this forum has been great in recent weeks and I wouldn't like to see it used as a platform to criticize any other forum.

Thanks, but when I "enter site", all I get to is the Band Announcements from dec 5?!?!? and the message about the website being redisigned. Refreshing didn't help either.
