Not for me either, I for sure won't be going to SL.

But don't you think this outlet is to try and bring in the younger fans? I mean, it's such a cyber world today..why not?

Just my 2 coppers opinion...

Oh I agree. I think it's fantastic. And in reality, it won't be long until some new tech comes along that makes posting to forums look as archaic as the telegraph. Yep, it'll happen.

It looked like something a 6th grader would put together.

How unbelievably ridiculous.

Well Journey lead singers dont usually have long tenures with the band lately. Probably costs big money to keep having the faces replaced.
When in doubt, DUCK!

Wonder if they have Perry's permission to use his image, or if they need to?

Somebody teach the Sims to headbang or something.

agreed Andrew...ridiculous waste of time.

Not to mention money!

The cost of staging Second Life is pretty large. I still have a hard time grasping the idea that a band, who for as long as I could remember, has shuned the opportunities that the internet and technology could bring to promotion.....and at times, made fun of the fans for being too into it...

...all of a sudden embraces it to such an extent that only the really psycho onliners that bother with this linden shit, would actually benefit.

I just dont get it.

Did you notice - in the very beginning - how they used the animated "Raised on Radio" thunderbolt thing over the Radio Station...
...with a "Billboard" of STEVE AUGERI SINGING in front of it??!!

I don't like this and my kids wouldn't like this either...I know when I was young (long before Al Gore invented the internet) I wouldn't be caught dead playing a "game" based on a group my parents liked. They liked Peter, Paul & Mary. A game involving Puff the Magic Dragon might have piqued my interest during my expiramental years though.

Holy crap. Its actually worse than I was picturing.

Notice that practically the first thing you see is the JRNY radio station building from the album cover... ya know, the album and cover that Neal hated so much...

This is probably where I should be hitting the back button.

But it's the Arrival DVD. DUH. You'll only see Houston 81 or Arrival.
