Figured out part of the problem over at the official site. You can't flip back and forth between MR and there because of the huge difference in colors. That's what was hurting my eyes. Their site has been upgraded to a C. Put some clips with the current singer and it'll go up to a C+.

Thanks! I didn't notice that was an option.
The lighter version is a little better. It's still very busy but I guess there's no use complaining about that. 8)

Thanks for the tip. Tried that. Not sure. I like the white but it's all squished into the middle with crap on both sides.
That's what I think I don't like about it. Too busy.

They got 6 or 7 pages of users already though. In search of something postivite to say I came up with this:
I like the name they chose for the forum. Much better than "Back Talk".

The new "Forum" over on the Journey board should be interesting

The forum is back and better than ever! You will not have to worry about personal attacks or rude conversations here at the Journey Forum as we are going to be moderating it as tightly as ever. We have added the latest UBB software and enabled all of it's features so the fans can enjoy what is arguably the best forum software in the world. Yep, don't mess with MR. This is the best message board ever, just the way it is. Thanks for letting us play here. I did register at 'Generations', but that was just to secure my screen name. I'll not be posting much over there.

If you behave (which is new to me  ) it doesn't matter if there's 7 or 70 mods.

I tried to register from work with a home email address so it had trouble recognizing me... I hope I can get it fixed today; the woman who wrote asking me what happened was quick as a lightening bolt in her reply to my email; she seemed very nice and wanted to help... I already have a good feeling about it...

Just to tell you, tagalog as a font isn't readable because it isn't an alphabet, it's symbols tied to sound, it's name is baybayin.

I did some investigating(People still do that :) ) and I found out the name of the font that the site uses is called Hirosh.

You can see baybayin here:
http://www.eaglescorner.com/baybayin/baybayin.html

You can even translate your name to that kind of script.

If you watch UFC and see Brandon Vera, he has script tattooed on his back.

It's the Essential Journey font (it's not my favorite either - a fan site has been using it for years already)

Good find!!!

Can we all know agree that this isn't a deliberate attempt to doing something that looks Asian since this album was released in October of 2001.
The Essential Journey is a compilation of songs from the rock band Journey. Released on October 16, 2001.

Well, it's not like this band has a good credit history amongst web developers! LOL. Even if they did actually pay the designers, I'd be surprised if they could afford to do so after blowing the wad for linden construction...

I just got a voicemail from Ernie.
He's pissed off and threatened to take out Rubber Ducky if 'orange' isn't immediately acknowledged.

I sent Elmo to beat his ass.

It's SO much better than what they had. At least there are more interesting areas. The little bios are funky though. Instead of making those graphic, with little or no info, they should fly some actual text in there and flesh out the bios.
WAY cooler than it was though.

...But you can't read the forum unless you log in? I can only imagine how sanitzed it will be.

I know! He does, doesn't he? He takes decidedly better pics than Neal most of the time though.
There's one of Cain in one of those flash slideshows that freaked me straight out.
I'll grab it later and post it.
