Getting Journey to sign guitar for charitable event?

Postby Lerxst101 » Sat Feb 02, 2008 12:18 am

My sister is on the committee for an event in Dallas February 23rd for Limbs for Life, which raises money to provide prosthetic care and devices to those who cannot afford such. Anyway, I was wondering how to contact Journey to possibly donate an autographed guitar or at least sign a guitar that would be purchased for them to sign.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a great organization. I wish you luck and really hope they offer a few moments to help out. Hopefully one of them sees this and contacts the web site.

You'd have to make sure they know for sure that the guitar is for charity. Some artists don't like signing them because they end up on ebay for rediculious prices

I can appreciate that for sure. I'm requesting that they contact my sister/the organization directly.

Have you posted this on the new Journey forum and/or contacted them through their website?
(I'd assume they have a "contact us" option?)

I'm sure their web people could help you be directed to the proper channels. Worth a shot at least.

Good luck. :D
