I hope the Patriots beat the whimpy Giants 52-17.....

This anti-patriot jealousy is starting to make me sick. They're the best team in the NFL. They have the best franchise in the NFL right now, the best coach in the league and they are winning the Super Bowl. This one will be a snooze fest by the start of the 4th quarter.

Yeah, and I just heard too the other day that we are sinking 1 million +++ a day into the war!!!!! Shouldn't they be trying to balance the federal deficit rather than wory about why Godell trashed the tapes so quick!!! WTF???

I forget who said it, but I know I said here when it happened, but someone on the SB coverage this week said that EVERYONE does the videoing and the Pats got caught cause Mangini knew Bill so well from coaching with him and nailed him.

Like I said, I hope the Pats destroy the Giants, Eli is more than OVERDUE for a CHOKE and I hope he does it Sunday in front of 10 million people. Archie should be used to seing at least one son CHOKE big time a year. Besides, most of the current Pats have been here before and I think they will come out matured and well-seasoned.....And pick away at the Giants and end up winning big!!!!

It's shit like this that Republicans can throw in the face of Democrats when it's crunch time.

Typical idiotic Senator.

Specter is definitely the guy all over the news tonight, talking about this issue. The ridiculous thing about this story is that ESPN reported his big concern was to get to the bottom of whether or not the Patriots were recording the Eagle's coaches signals, during the 2005 Super Bowl! This guy is from Pennsylvania, and apparently a rabid Eagles fan! I have to tell you that even if the NFL uncovers another 100 tapes on the Patriots, I'd be quite embarrassed with how this story makes Specter look. It really makes the guy look like a clown! Schumer is from New York...He'll only have some "investigating" to do if the Giants lose to the Patriots!

The most ridiculous thing is that every other team in the NFL does it, and you can get exactly the same footage LEGALLY by positioning your cameras 75 feet away from where they got caught.

True. However the Pats can't really complain. Pointing out other's bad behavior doesn't excuse their own.

Not until they win on sunday, they're not. Let's see it play out first. I'm sick and tired of fucking shitbag teams in Boston (irrespective of the sport) getting crowned before it's all said and done. If the massholes win, I'll give em props....but until then, they'd better fucking earn it first.

18-0 hasn't earned a LITTLE bit of respect? C'mon, you popping corks with those fucking idiots like Mercury Morris in Miami each year???

I don't get hating Boston so much. Or anywhere for that much. The only town I dislike is Philly cause it's a shit hole. But as for any other city, I could never complain....I don't get Grey......They have a TON, more than a TON to be proud of. 3 SB's in 5 years, 2 WS in 4 years.....Damn. I wish I lived there......

Who gives a fuck what a New Yorker says about Boston! Those fuckers NEVER had ANYTHING to say about Boston when the Yankees were winning every season, and accused Boston of having an "inferiority complex"! Who has it now? I can assure you that we don't need any "props" from any Jackass New Yorkers! It's the fucking armpit of America, and always has been! We'll take our victory, move on with our 19-0 record, and the entire city of NY can kiss our ass  Good luck with the Yankees this season! Another lunatic Steinbrenner in the corner office should finally get you guys over the hump

Some more sad facts about the human toll, related to the Iraq war:

1.4 Million - Number of service members deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as of November 2006
30% - Percentage of Service members who drink excessive alcohol to cope with the world they live in
15% - Percentage who reported anxiety
24% - Percentage who reported severe depression
8% - Percentage who have "seriously considered suicide"
65% - Percentage of married veterans who reported family re-adjustment problems
45% - Percentage who felt like a guest in their own home, when returning
25% - Percentage who felt their children were afraid of them (as a father, this is about as sad as sad gets)
37% - Percentage who felt their spouse was afraid of them
58% - Percentage who engaged in shouting or shoving incidents with their partner
17.3 per 100K - Army suicide rate (highest reported rate in 28 years)
19.4 per 100K - Army suicide rate for army personnel stationed in Iraq
3,213 - Number of Iraq veterans suffering head or brain injuries (and this is the number as of January 2006)
177 Days - Average time for the V.A. to process a compensation claim for a returning veteran
600,000 - V.A. Claims backlog as of July 2007
$15-$35 BILLION - Cost to treat 3,213 soldiers with head or brain injuries, for the rest of their lives

Disturbing...and even more so when you add that pesky figure of between 150,000 and 500,000 dead Iraquis...plus the millions of homeless, tens of millions of unemployed / starving / poverty-striken...

Our boys and girls and dying in the middle east, gases prices are + $3.00 per gallon, unemployment rate is rising, our bridges are in disrepair, New Orleans is still in shambles and old douchebag wants to have a hearing on the video taping a defensive coach in an nfl game??? - what a fucking ahole.

Pfff.
Now THAT is too true.

As an Iggle Zealot, if he had ANY clue about football at all, he'd know that #5SuperSixeExtraValueMeal under center, not even being able to buckle his goddam CHINSTRAP in that game he was so out of shape, was the REAL culprit of the Birds' downfall in Jax that day.
