Reagan cried often when he spoke of Nancy WHILE in office! The fact that he cared so deeply for her was one of his more appealing traits.

If you don't like Hillary, fine. But saying that her tearing up TWICE in public over the many years should make her drop out is just ridiculous

Don't you find it interesting that the only time she cries is when she is down in the polls and feeling the pressure from Obama? She's crying because she can't take the pressure. There is a difference.

She was being introduced by a MAN who has known her for years & who was tearing up with pride. MOST people would have been moved to tears in that situation.

Fuck Hillary! I'll be happy when (and if) she just goes away! As I've said before, she wouldn't even be considered a candidate if she weren't married to a guy who was our president! As far as I'm concerned, those aren't enough credentials. It's like suggesting Leno's wife is qualified to take over his show, when he retires!

Looks like Obama is gaining ground in the polls.

Exactly. Come on, it's not that big a deal. It was an emotional moment that really had nothing to do ith the campaign. If the man had introduced her the same way and it was just a public speaking event several years ago when she wasn't a presidential candidate, she probably would have reacted the same way. Its not as if she bursts into tears mid-debate when Obama takes a shot at her or anything. There are bigger issues to discuss than Hillary feeling emotional because soemone said nice things about her. Jesus.

Sorry, this is one of the factors that will seal her fate with a loss. USA simply cannot promote any kind of weakness be it from a man or woman at this time. We will probably go to war again in the coming years and we need to stand firm and not shead a tear when it comes time to get tough. Right time for a woman, wrong time for Hilary.

I'm telling you that if the time comes and she's losing the election, watch for Bill to either be sent to the hospital with a serious malfunction or just plain end up dead. I wouldn't put it past Hillary pulling Bill's plug for some sympathy votes. Just imagine it (and I've posted this already before), how many sympathy votes Hillary would pull in if Bill mysteriously came down ill or died of natural causes of course.

But me personally, I'm not ready for a cry baby president, and Hillary isn't either. It's just a huge show she's putting on. Because she knows that there are great numbers of bleeding hearts in America and she knows how to do some tear jerking to attract them.

Hillary Clinton cries in Connecticut
by Jason George

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.

A doctor, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton's eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, the doctor was saying how proud he was that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.

"Well, I said I would not tear up; already we're not exactly on the path," Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.

Clinton is holding a roundtable discussion with Connecticut women to talk about childcare and healthcare.

When Clinton got misty-eyed at an event in New Hampshire on Jan. 7, politicos and pundits filled hours discussing if it helped her, and Clinton eventually pointed to the moment as when she "found her voice" and turned the corner in the Granite State.

At the time, there was much debate if the candidate's emotional response to a question -- "How do you do it?"" -- was genuine or calculated.

Let the conversation begin again...

Well, I'm not voting for her, but not because of this. I think this is an apples and oranges comparison. Her crying over believing she was losing a political race was a big deal because it showed how she handled issues pertaining to her performance as an elected official.

Getting misty eyed during a public reunion with a former teacher who's proud of her accomplishments? I don't equate the two.

Again, I'm not voting for her, but fair is fair. Keep it in context, you know?

Um...being from "the rest of the world" I can assure you Clinton is EXTREMELY popular abroad. Every Western European nation has had a female Prime Minister or President. It's 2008. The rest of the world thinks the fuss made over Clinton/Lewinsky is RIDICULOUS, but I can ASSURE you the rest of the world despises W. Bush! If we elected a woman President they would actually be VERY happy..especially since she's a Clinton. It might take us out of the Stone Ages.

We don't need that much change huh? No matter which way you look at it, history is going to be made...

First Woman President- Hillary Clinton

First Black President- Barack Obama

First Morman President- Mitt Romney

First President from Arizona- John McCain

Get with the program dude... change is gonna happen weather you like it or not. The only way it is even remotely going to feel the same as your "good all days" is if McCain wins, and Bush has soiled the name republican for at least the next 12 years, guaranteed!

I'm not interested in making the rest of the world happy if it means electing someone based solely on their gender or race.

That chart is misleading. First off, that's not the national debt. That should represent the national budget deficit. The debt has continued to grow with each President over the last 60+ years. Each of them has simply added the problem. I also don't think you'll find anyone, Republican or otherwise, who says they agree with Bush on fiscal matters, other than lower taxes.

Also, noting that the chart tries too hard to make it appear like the Democratic Presidents were more fiscally responsible, I'm not too confident in the veracity of the numbers.

It's human to cry some just cry more than others i guess.
I cry about personal things, and by that I mean extremely personal, but things outside that never!

to quote an old saying:
Laugh, and the world laughs with you; cry, and you cry alone .

Apart from which crying makes your face baggy, your eyes puffy, and you sound like an old bloodhound!

I'm sure she's quite popular with Al qaeda most notably. It was after all, her husband that sat back and got his crank sucked while Al Qaeda went from operating in 3-5 countries to over 250!!! And if that wasn't enough, President Clinton passed when he had the opportunity to execute Bin Laden...several times!!! Of course she's popular. She's the filthy khunt that couldn't keep that fat ass, ghetto loving, hillbilly jackoff husband of hers happy so he had to find a fat slob intern to pleasure him instead of doing his job. Meanwhile, Al Qaeda flourished and grew, blew up our embassies, dragged our dead soldiers through streets, attacked the WTC the first time and trained HERE, plotted HERE, and lived HERE before the second WTC attacks. And I'm supposed to vote for this skank? No thanks.

Just so I'm clear on what I was expressing...My issue with Hillary has NEVER been the fact that she's a woman! I just think it's absurd that ANYONE thinks she's qualified to run the free world, just because her husband was the president! The reality is that if she does get elected, it's really Americans saying "We want Bill Clinton as our president again, but our constitution forces us to elect his wife to get Bill back in The White House"! I also think she is one of the most polarizing figures this country has ever seen, so I hope someone gets elected who can galvanize the country, instead of divide it! I'm not sure who that candidate is, but I suspect it's probably Obama.

India will trade makeup goods for leather handbags from Korea and so on. Something will go wrong down the line and countries will go to war over a lost vessel full of Victoria Secret bras. Bottom line: get ready for some really worthless drama if Hillary is President. She's going to be given away lots of money and jobs that she doesn't have to whom she wants. She reminds me of a babysitter I once had when I was in third grade. This baby sitter would make me sit quietly every day on the livingroom couch with no tv or radio, from the time I arrived to her home after school about 3pm until my parents came to pick me up sometime after 5pm, her house was within a few minute walk from my school. This babysitter would not allow me to go out to any other part of the house, just sit quietly on the livingroom couch, while her kids were in another room playing with toys, eating food and watching TV. Every so often the woman would come into the livingroom where I was and would sit down and start "venting" to me about her problems. That was the only time she ever paid any attention to me what so ever, was to vent her problems. I spent about six months going to this woman's home after school. Thank god we finally ended up moving and I no longer had to go to her house after school. Hillary reminds me of this woman.
