Anyway, I just bought the DVD for this show today and I've always thought the band had a ton of energy on stage back then. The show really rocks. Even the version of "Only One Way to Rock" is far superior to Hagar's solo version. The only bad thing I have to say about the show is that Hagar's guitar solos in "Love Walks In" are awful.

Anybody else dig this show or that era of the band?

PC, I love this era of VH. I really appreciate both major eras, but I have always been such a Sammy fan, that it's hard for me not to favor the 5150 era. I saw them in Nasville on this tour, and I believe it was only the 2nd or 3rd date they had done with Sammy. If memory serves, the album may not have even hit the shelves yet. It was a killer show, but also kinda cool when they fucked up (as they did more than a few times!) Nice to see a great band working out the kinks...
