There was a clip of Arnel with a TV reporter where he sang a piece of Open Arms acapella, she sang along with him and then she put her hand over her heart--completely unrehearsed. That's pretty much the way I and probably a lot of others feel about his singing...

I didn't think that vocals was that amazing at all. I'll wait to hear him in concert properly (but not first hand sadly).

Take REO, 80 mins. Replace with Cheap Trick. They only play the same 8 songs. That is say, 50 minutes. Saved time:30

Styx, 80 mins, replaced by Heart. Heart plays 60 mins. Saved time= 20

Total time saved= 50 mins.

Journey dirty dozen= 65 minutes. 8 more songs, =40 mins. 105 minutes, 20 tunes. Probably 18, but 20 is possible.

that B is getting at Jeremy alittle more than he needs to.

I would possibly go to a show this year for the reason to see people and friends that I have met over the years and maybe hang with them before and after the show. For me, and that is just me, to sit through their set or go to see them, means that I support their decisions and choices over the past year or so and the way things were handled and the way that they treated BOTH JSS and SA and I just can not do that,.
I can listen to the cds from the SA and SP era and the dvds and go see Evolution if I want to hear the songs. I can not
go to a show and let them think I support them and their choices and decisons when I do not,.
I cannot in all honesty see some of the friends that I have met traveling far to see them and that is too bad.
Just my opinion and how I look at things.
BTw I saw michael Bolton on that tour and he did one headline show in ct, and he had Jon, Jon's brother on drums and Ross Valory with him. There was another guy on guitar I do not recall his name, however it was not Neal.

My mistake. It was so long ago and I knew it was 2 members of Jrny so I assumed it was Neal. I did catch Neal in his glam phase when he was in Hardline.

Jeff didn't find out he was let go until he was in Europe doing a short Talisman tour, and someone that's not even in the Journey camp came up and said "Sorry about the Journey gig." or something to that effect. Jeff was like . Nobody called him at all. I think Ross Valory called him after a week or so. It was ugly.

Wow. I have an Yngwie Malmsteen cd that JSS sings on but I just don't picture him in Journey. No knock at him though - he's got a great voice. I love that scream during I'll See the Light Tonight. I checked some torrent sites that I download dvd's from but I can't find any Journey shows with JSS.
