I've seen advertisements for it but haven't seen it yet.
As far as the writer's strike, who cares? It's the biggest non-issue in the history of entertainment. Leno and Letterman have been just as good without them.
Rip Rokken wrote:Nora, I started watching this thanks to you... Wasn't on last week, was it? I have it set to record and haven't noticed any new eps for the past couple of weeks. I still think you would make a better Sarah Connor, though.
TRAGChick wrote:Nope...nothing last week!
BRAND NEW tonight! ~ 9PM Eastern.

I don't watch it.
I did find it funny that alot of Terminator fans don't like it because of "continuity/timeline problems" when there was a big problem with the first Terminator. If Reese and Sarah conceived John? How did John send Reese back in time so he could be conceived?I'm a dork! I know!

As for the show, haven't caught it yet but hope to soon.
I do miss Linda Hamilton though. A hottie in her day.

I'm tellin' ya, Nora should have been Sarah Connor... look at that killer stare! She has that Linda Hamilton T2 angst going on...This chick they picked for the TV show is a SOFTIE... not believable as a bad-ass at all. Nora would jank those machines up!

No Arnold, no Terminator.
Period.

STORY_TELLER wrote:I like watching it so far, despite the plot holes. Forget the timeline continuity. They've broken rules they established not only in the movies, but in the series as well. How about the fact that the female terminator is suddenly socially awkward and stiff as a board, yet in the first episode, she tricks John into thinking she's as normal as everyone else, even gets him feeling she's hitting on him.
And ConversationPC couldnt' be more wrong about the writers strike. It is having a HUGE rippling effect on the California economy. The only reason Terminator is on the air is because they finished these episodes prior to the strike starting. If the strike continues, the show will be on hiatus. Nothing written, nothing to shoot, nothing to shoot nothing to air.
You can't equate a live talk show with a series narrative. Apples and oranges and I guarantee you, those guys aren't doing everything off the cuff. They're writing their own material in violation of the strike.
Fortunately, I hear the strike could be ending soon.
