Frontiers show in Cleveland

Postby journey062393 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 6:07 pm

Just got back from the Frontiers show at the House of Blues tonight. My first Frontiers show and I have to say......it kicked ass. The guys were amazing and the place sold out too. Jeremey totally blew me away. I mean, I've seen all the You tube clips and heard all the samples, but to experience it live just amazed me. I will keep an open mind, but I dont see how AP is going to be able to top this for me next month in Vegas. Cant wait til you guys come back later this year!!!

Saw Jeremey live once and he was outstanding. He sounds closer to Steve Perry, but Arnel has a stronger voice and allows them to move away from the "Steve Perry clone" argument. Only a fucking moron would think a 5 foot Filipino with a completely different voice (yet similar range and vocal acrobatic abilities) would think Arnel is a "clone." He's a new, refreshing direction. I await the new album. 8)

guitars were pretty good tonight. To be honest, from clips I've heard and from some other reviews, I wasnt too sure what I'd think, but it was pretty solid. As for the numbers......well believe it or not.....its actually the exact date that I became a hardcore Journey fan. And it was pretty much a one in a million shot too, but it happened.

You have such a way of quizzing a question Larry.

Good to see that you enjoyed the show journey062393.
I'm hoping that someday soon I will be able to see them to.
Thanks for posting a few thoughts of it.

jezuz, it's a Frontier's thread not a Arnel v.s. Jeremey thread v.s. new Journey thread.

And I could come back with the equally ridiculous argument that this is a Journey board and that Frontiers threads should be posted on the Frontiers site!!! But that would be dumb. I simply offered up my theory as to why he could sing the songs so well yet be passed up, that's all. You don't like it? Too fucking bad.
