Is this it??? Is it over for Hillary??? She lost all four states yesterday, and ABC is reporting that she just lost Maine today. I realize that things are very close, but, it's because of that fact, that losing 5 states in a row can't be a good thing for either of these candidates! Is she going to make a comeback, Dean? I have to tell you that after watching Obama give a speech last night in Virginia...there isn't a candidate on either side who has much of a shot of beating this guy in a war of words. He's very articulate and very inspiring. Of course, even as I say that, I also know that he's a politician, which means he's full of shit!

Classic sign, Rhi! I will definitely not be disappointed to see Hillary's demise. I LOATHE that woman and always have! The ONLY good thing about that woman being the president would be the guy she's married to! Other than that, I have no use for her!

I'm hearing whispers of the Chicago Democratic Machine winding itself up, too. Look for "Super Delegates" to start leaving Hillary and coming over to Obama. Payola is king and Obama has plenty of it. His camp has some VERY dirty tactics that I foresee them employing in the near future. I see Operation Push has all but left Hillary too. That's a bad, bad sign.

My plan for Election Day is to down 7 shots of whiskey before I head to my voting place, make chit-chat with a girl I've known since 7th grade as I check my name off the list... proceed to the booth and just start pressing shit. :D :P

I don't know why anyone wouldn't find Obama compelling. Additionally, other than his "maverick amnesia" of the past two years, McCain is brilliant. I think the country would be headed in the right direction with either one of them as President.

We certainly couldn't do any worse than 43, who will go down in history as the worst elected official in the history of Western Civilization.

We have the touch screen things now (and people say I'm from the sticks) so I just figure whatever my elbow, forehead, boob, foot, so on, selects...

Or maybe those of us disgruntled with the selections could all write in "Rockindeano" on our ballots...

Obama rocks. He's the only candidate I can even stand to listen to. All the rest seem plastic to me.

I hope he makes it.

I agree with your assessment of Obama. I find him to be quite compelling, and the lesser of all the evils left in the race. As for McCain...I wouldn't quite anoint this guy as "brilliant". The guy came out on "Meet The Press" two weeks ago and said although he was strong in the area of foreign policy that he didn't know much about the economy! It's bad enough if that's actually true, but for him to say it on national TV, as he's trying to get the job of fixing our wounded economy, it's anything but "brilliant"! The guy sounded like a complete JACKASS!

My main issue in this race is to get someone elected who will undue all of the damage that Bush has done to our country over the past eight years. Obama is the only one who seems to realize that the war in Iraq was a mistake, and that to build relationships and partnerships with other countries you have to be humble enough to communicate with their leaders.

I don't know if you've visited the District of Columbia lately, but the entire place is cram-packed with boobs. And not nice ones you'd put on your mantle either, old saggy wrinkly yucky boobs.

A lot of people are aware the war was a grievous mistake. However, those who voted for the war, even if they did so because of the false "evidence" that was presented at the time, have little recourse.

Enigma, I will respond to you because everyone else is just too fucking dumb.

Hillary still has a firewall in Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio. I still think she is the better of the 2, but Obama does inspire the soul, that's for sure.

The GOP has no shot whatsoever, and anyone with a brain can see they are finished.

Is this the same Deano that told me: "Hillary is your next President. Get over it."??

I would actually prefer it if Hillary got the nomination. So until the nomination process is over, Go HILLARY!

I kinda like Obama, except for his middle name and his previous names that he changed (what was that about?), but I've never really listened to him. What does he say, other than fluffy rhetoric? Has he addressed issues in a real way and laid out any concrete plans? Seems all I've heard is the vague crap like 'hope' and 'change', and other various cliches.

Please enlighten me...

And this makes him different than any other politician how???? Listen, as I said...he's a politician so full of shit, by birth! I don't believe ANYTHING ANY politician says, including the ones I vote for! Being a complete con artist is a prerequisite for the damn job! As I've say before, the day you meet an honest politician will be the first one the world has ever seen!
