I hear ya. KISS puts on a great show BUT they have to be alone to do that. Playing after bands that actually have incredible back catalogs is going to make them look silly. Fucking grown men prancing around the stage in makeup and high heeled boots like Euro-fags. KISS always had that contingent of faggy fans that lived in a dream world where wrestling was real, a double wide trailer was considered living well, and a comb in your back pocket made you cool. They were simply a band for nerds. People that could "mask" being skinny nerds by parading around in makeup and saying that they belong to the "KISS Army." What a bunch of tools.

LOL, that explains Kiss fans to a tee.

Of course those smelly Euros love the cheesy shit like Kiss and Lippard. Oh and by the way, can you just see Coverdale rolling up in his leatherfaced grill, wrinkles that could hold a three day rain, and his deep James Bond talking voice...What, do they roll out a couple Jags on stage and have fuckin Tawny "I just beat the shit out Chuck Finley(again)" Kitaen start doing cartwheels on them? LOL, Here I Go Again...what making yourselves look like complete asses in the musical theatre?

Dream on Deano but it's not going to happen. Only an idiot would leave before a KISS show. Best live band in the world...

Plus they are playing huge stadiums in Europe this year. Much bigger than those they played in during the 1970s and 1980s.

The only good thing that came out of Europe musically was ABBA. I dug that group. Still can't believe they turned down a fucking BILLION dollars for a worldwide reunion tour. I wonder if any of them are of Portuguese descent?  :P

Dude, I was a GDI in college.

How can you or anyone like Kiss? The fake vocals, pretend instruments, Kiss Army, the whole thing is parallel with fake wrestling. Jesus Christ.

Wow...that gag was getting stale in all the schoolyards in Britain by early 1977...but it's still cutting edge humour for our American cousins.

No idea what a GDI is. In Europe "frat boy" just means loud Belushi type figure.

American Humor is King. Sam Kinison owned Benny Hill. Benny Hill, lol at that cock hunter. He lived for cock and just for the record, Euros, patting someone on the bald head while wearing white tennis clothes is not funny. Benny apparently disagreed, as he ran 30 minute TV shows of that same thing....white tennis clothes, patting some other cock hungry Euro on the head, over and over.

Kinison was hilarious in his early days - one of the best ever - but I think his routine was getting a bit tired by the time he did that Wild Thing video. Or am I missing something?

It's true about Benny Hill though. He was always crap.

Stereotype these days includes one or more polo shirts (with popped or double-popped collars), often pink, with backwards Kappa Kappa Kappa or whatever hat and one of those gay-looking shell necklace things.. typically with hair that's long but not too long, and usually with a beer in hand and a bottle of date rape pills in the other.

Yes...that's true...that's definitely the modern image of a Frat Boy. I was thinking more of the Animal House era...

Listen here, fudge budger. Take your obsessive compulsion for Friga, pop in one of his shitty CD's in your Europod, and go have fun at your favorite gay bar. Just stay out of my cross hairs, amigo.

Oh hark at the Strangegrey wannabe. I think I saw this exact same post from him last summer on the TJF. The "Europod" was good though. I'll give you some credit for that at least.
