If he would've pointed to the door.. you probably would've started to walk that way.. right?

With just a flick of his left pinky (using only the distal Phalange), I would walk on hot coals for Geoff Tate. But I'm afraid his power isn't quite strong enough to make me vote for Hillary Clinton.

If you'd experienced Geoff Tate last night, you'd fully understand what an enigma he is. He's sort of like a vampire god that not only has superhuman strength, but who is also 10 times more intelligent than the brightest of us (that goes 20-30 times for... oops, we're not supposed to mention that place).

When Geoff Tate blesses the audience with a smile and a quick nod of his head, it creates a sudden sense of euphoria that science has yet to explain.

Haha...I haven't seen him in concert but he does seem to have a very interesting aura about him.

I like the floating Geoff head!

Here's a scary picture:

What?!? You need to do that immediately before doing anything else! By the way, this is really ALL on topic since Geoff Tate is a part of Journey history. I think he should be like the free space in Bingo around here.

Actually, now that I think of it
those feet look like a young boys...

I will make that my homework assignment for the day - it beats working on my senior paper.

You have to give me some slack, though, I hadn't even heard of Queensryche until last fall.

First, I've honestly rethought this... I shall do NO MORE parodies of Geoff Tate... not if I want any chance of landing Meet N Greet passes to a future show. His sense of humor might not jibe with mine... Second, some of Eddie's pictures are good enough without Photoshop:

Do you think Geoff Tate would cut you any slack?!? I don't think so, not after his political speech last night... He was giving marching orders!

Very generally, it was about getting involved in the election process, getting to know the issues and candidates, making smart and informed voting decisions, and not allowing politicians to F up our lives (yes, he dropped the F bomb a few times). I completely agree with the speech... just differ in the politics. He did say something specifically about how politicians are supposed to be taking care of us, rather than taking care of themselves. A few ways to interpret that -- if he meant, government should be working for the people, I agree, but not if he meant government should be taking care of the people (like a parent). I wasn't honestly sure how to interpret it. There we go... now we have a nice little political debate thread! :P

He didn't use Hillary's name, but said something like he'd chosen a candidate and was looking forward to voting for "her". Hey, I'm not knocking him at all... I love Geoff Tate, and all this was delivered with classic G.T. theatrical phrasing... very cool! G.T. should run for President, but only if Chris Degarmo will return to accept the V.P. slot.

Jeez...too bad he's on HER side.

If he doesn't want to allow politicians to F up our lives, he definitely should stay far away from Hillary. That statement would seem to favor a limited government approach.

I'm guessing being from Seattle colors his politics or something. If you are around something enough, you tend to get that viewpoint. Serious business, if we'd met and talked for any length of time, I would have brought up politics to pick his brain. He's definitely a smart guy, and Gayle commented a few times how deep he was. I'm actually a pretty deep guy too if you get me in the right conversation, and I think he and I would have very interesting chats. Hope to have the chance some day, so no... I better not put his head on Kim Jong Il's body... :P

Yeah...an open political debate with Geoff Tate - you better bring the tape recorder with you!

Maybe you will end up sitting next to him on an airplane or something. I always think it would be great to board an airplane to find your seat next to someone like Don Dokken or C.J. Snare

Funny you should say... I've heard stories from friends who have shared plane rides with both Don and C.J. The guy who sat next to Don said he was very cool and down to earth. A girl I used to date sat next to C.J. and said he seemed surprised she didn't know who he was. :P I'm sure Geoff Tate doesn't fly coach...

Strange! Although I certainly think C.J. deserves to be more well known given his amazing vocal ability, he obviously can't expect to be recognized all that often. I would kill to be in a plane with him - and he would probably want to kill himself after hearing me ramble on and on for hours about how great FireHouse's debut album is!

Geoff Tate flies in a secret section of the plane where it is pitch dark and organ music plays!

I met C.J. last year but I didn't get to talk with him much. FireHouse was the first band I met so I really wasn't prepared with questions, comments, and all.

Of course, we shall call him The Geobat.
