Sorry, Bush has ruined the economy in this country. Every time he (or his fed shithead Bernake) has had an opportunity to do the righ thing, they've done the wrong. A baffoon could run this country better than Hayseed Dubya.

I am goping to tell you all right now what this nation needs. Medicine. Medicine in the form of taxes. Yep, we need to implement taxes, in order to bring this refuckingdickulous debt down that was created by this "war" and tax breaks for the rich.

Yes, taxes. Give em to us.

I have the guts to say yes, rather than say, "cut this, cut that" all this domestic spending for the poor and needy is bullshit. Your GOP war has ruined the USA.

Great idea Dean. When Michigan had 3 terms and 12 years under that evil business tax cutter John Engler, unemployment dropped to nearly 3%, if I remember correctly it was lower than the national average. After 5 short years with the caring liberal Jennifer Granholm we can't seem to get under 7% way above the national average. If this is "medicine" then I'll go ahead and start calling you Dr. Kevorkian.

Fuck you. Commi? Obama is much better for, this nation and world than ANY divisive, hypocritical republican you could put forth. I still Hillary would be much better, but if the people disagree, their voices have spoken.

I like how you Cons are already saying how bad Obama will be, 10 months prior to him taking the oath. At least I gave Dumbya a year before I BBQ'ed his sorry ass.

Is socialist or Marxist more palatable for you? It's all ends the same, at the cost of losing your freedom and liberty. That's a small price to pay, just as long as you get your free stuff though right?

Tough to argue with this point! He's proven his complete incompetence for the past 7+ years. It's a VERY sad state of politics when a complete jackass like this can get elected once, let alone twice! I hope to hell that Yale never uses this clown in any advertisements, promoting that great school! I'd disavow any knowledge of the guy! I'm still stunned that ANY human being came out of an Ivy League school and has trouble stringing basic 6th grade sentences together! Truly frightening!

And don't blame Bush for getting elected and re elected. Blame the sonofabitch Karl Rove, Bush's Brain, who brainwashed and scared the Hell out of the voters who DID vote for Bush. All you stupid rednecks, soccer moms, Floridians(oops, I will pay for that one), and all you religious nuts. Congrats.

Claiming that Texas voting for McCain is cause for optimism is ridiculous FF. Texas should be a slam dunk! McCain is a lousy candidate. Conservatives will not support him. Republicans will get what they deserve.

CNN poll: Texans leaning toward McCain in November

CNN | 02/21/08

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Texans appear poised to favor Republican front-runner Sen. John McCain over either of the Democratic candidates for president in the general election, a CNN/Opinion Research Poll released Thursday shows.

Assuming McCain is the Republican presidential nominee, 52 percent of poll respondents said they would vote for him, compared with 44 percent for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the current Democratic front-runner.

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton fares slightly worse, with 42 percent, compared with 55 percent for McCain.

The results are not a surprise, said CNN polling director Keating Holland. "Texas is a pretty red state."

However, a conservative third-party candidate could skew the results -- and spell trouble for McCain, according to polling results. In that scenario, 19 percent of Texas poll respondents said they would vote for the third-party candidate, 37 percent for McCain and 41 percent for Obama.

And the point of this is what??? I know this ALWAYS shocks anyone from the state of Texas, but there are actually 49 other states in our country! Just because Texas is leaning toward McCain doesn't mean he's going to win the election! Also, the 52 versus 44 percent for Obama in a poll mean absolutely nothing. Hillary was behind by double digits in the NH primary poll, and she won the state, going away!

Nothing.

That's just the only kind of shit the Libs can spew. Make fun of the way a guy talks, Condis teeth, blah blah blah. No substance.

Height does make a difference, and sadly so do looks. Nixon on radio beat JFK in debates, while JFK beat Dick on TV.

FF, you just lost ALL your credibility. You are propping up Texas as a republican stronghold. Like RFW said, it had better be! I am shocked it's as close as that poll showed.

You need to look at states that matter. States that swing. Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Virginia, Nevada, NM, Ohio, Michigan and Florida. I don't see GOP winning any of these, except maybe Florida.

It's mind boggling that the Clintons are willing to destroy the entire Democratic Party, and potentially in the process lose the White House and seats in Congress, for their own selfish thirst for power and glory.

Well, Bush has done that already with the Republican party.

Thank You sir.

Of course it won't be like Mondale! It's an ABSURD comparison to even make. You have two candidates who have never run for president before, versus Mondale running against an incumbent president, who is one of the most popular presidents this country has ever seen!
