What if...

Postby Art Vandelay » Sat Feb 23, 2008 2:28 am

...modern technology were to find a way to transform recorded concerts into a three-dimensional, hologram performance. Think what they did with Elvis on American Idol. Far fetched, I know...but stay with me on this...

Let's say the classic 1981 Houston Journey concert were to be transformed and shown throughout major arenas. There would be a real stage and a live crowd. You knew it was a hologram, but weren't able to tell the difference. It would be as if you were seeing the real deal. Would you go?

If the current (live) incarnation of Journey were playing within driving distance on the same night, which show would you go see?

What other concerts would you want to see?

In a heartbeat.

If the current (live) incarnation of Journey were playing within driving distance on the same night, which show would you go see?

The one with the real frontman(meaning the holographic Perry).

What other concerts would you want to see?

Oh I'd go in heartbeat. Not necessarily because of Perry, I'd just like to see it happen.
I think Morrison/The Doors would be a bigger draw though.
