I hope you're joking. We absolutely DO torture people. We still use waterboarding. Look it up. It's sickening.

Most conservatives think waterboarding is allowable and, while it has led to some useful information from terrorists, I don't think we should be doing it.

While proponents of it say that it doesn't physically harm the person, the article on this from Wikipedia appears to say that it can lead to death. I could definitely see where it might give someone a heart attack.

That is sick!

If I ever want information out of anybody........I'll just hire Jack Bauer thank you very much! :P

Waterboarding is no worse that what I went through in pledging my fraternity.

I did the POW school in the military...SERE...what we do, and you are calling torture is NOTHING compared to what is done elsewhere.

Get a grip.

Maybe they should play the Beach Boys while they do it. Waterboarding sounds like something you do when the snow melts.

(And yes, I know what it is and I've seen it demonstrated, just makin' a joke! )

Of course I'm joking, but I differ on the torture issue when lives are at stake (and then only). Take this scenario -- your family lives in an area for which a credible nuclear threat has been uncovered. They've captured the guy who knows where the bomb is, but he's not talking... Tell me how many of you under those circumstances would not want to get the truth wrung out of that guy by any means necessary?

I could swear I just read in the past few months that waterboarding had now been banned, due mainly to all the griping from the public...

The US Attorney General Mukasey REFUSES to say waterboarding is torture. He of course is being told to say that by Cheney.

It's garbage and frankly, embarrassing to be an American with that kind of mentality. Disgusting.

The fucking "Meow Mix" song. Ha ha ha!!! I'm still wetting my pants over that one.

I'd say add "Strumming His Fingers" by that talentless hack Roberta Flack..."We Are Family" by Gloria Gaynor...maybe "The Next to Be With You" by Mr. Big (great band, TERRIBLE song) and Poison's "Unskinny Bop". You could coerce Mother Teresa into admitting she was Mephistopheles within fifteen minutes! John Rambo would confess to being a closet homosexual Marxist! Think of the possibilities!

I'm confused, though. I thought Barney himself was being held at Guantanamo as an enema of the state.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey said Tuesday that the harsh C.I.A. interrogation technique known as waterboarding was not clearly illegal, and suggested that it could be used against terrorism suspects once again if requested by the White House.

This is the same motherfucker who an hour ago, protected two Bush aides(slimy fuckers)--

Mukasey Refuses Probe of Bush Aides

By LAURIE KELLMAN – 2 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Michael Mukasey refused Friday to refer the House's contempt citations against two of President Bush's top aides to a federal grand jury. Mukasey said White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former presidential counsel Harriet Miers committed no crime.

As promised, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she has given the Judiciary Committee authority to file a lawsuit against Bolten and Miers in federal court.

"The House shall do so promptly," she said in a statement.

Mukasey said Bolten and Miers were right in ignoring subpoenas to provide Congress with White House documents or testify about the firings of federal prosecutors.

"The department will not bring the congressional contempt citations before a grand jury or take any other action to prosecute Mr. Bolten or Ms. Miers," Mukasey wrote Pelosi.

Pelosi shot back that the aides can expect a lawsuit.

"The American people demand that we uphold the law," Pelosi said. "As public officials, we take an oath to uphold the Constitution and protect our system of checks and balances ...............

Yeah, I am so proud of my President.

I wish him eternity in Hell.

And here I thought Bush told us all...that he would bring back ethics and morals to the White House. Hell, Clinton isn't half as dirty as this motherfucker.

They are going to need to fumigate that place and the plane and Marine 1 as well.

A torture song?

I detest this song with a passion. Debbie Boone and her "You Light Up My Life" I could just scream, bang my head against the wall, vomit, rip my legs while shaving, and give birth to sextuplets NATURALLY. That song just drives me.

They should really use it

You're right Dean. We just need to love and show those terrorists all the good things we are. I'm sure if our awful military would just ask nicely and be respectful they would give us more than willing to help us. Yet. another brilliant liberal solution Dean.

I concur.

But how do you "rip your legs while shaving"? That kind of incident can leave permanent scars on your ears. 8)

I don't get it. Does this cd suck an exceptionally bit more red baboon ass than your standard Dokken cd?

Painful, huh? You just don't see women doing stupid shit like that as often as men. You always see some dude in the public rest room or going to work with a bunch of toilet paper dots to cover up his nicks from shaving, but you don't see women with band-aids all over their legs from "mis-shaving".

Do you mean "sucks" as in, "sucks the money out of your wallet", or "sucks the breath out of your lungs?" :P No, it was their foray into grunge... Even Don Dokken thinks it sucks, but I kinda like it...

The only MR band to successfully embrace that abomination known as grunge was Def Leppard with their masterpiece "Slang".

NOW they're singing duets with fucking Tim McGraw and using the world "sparkle" on their new record. How the mighty have fallen.
