OK...

Who saw the Premiere last night - and who was scared?

That shit was creepy!

1. The "face" that Grant saw
2. The "mommy!" they caught on film AND audio
3. The "form" they caught on Thermal....standing in front of a stove that was not used for 100 years...
...but was giving off heat.
4. The Audio sentence caught on tape: "The Boss wants it [dug] deeper" - talking about the "Solitary Confinement" hole in the ground.

Thoughts? Comments?

This is shaping up to be a gooooood season....

Saw it. Good opening. I wished they'd captured the face on film, but if Grant said he saw it...he saw it. The "Mommy", and the "Boss wants it deeper" were good EVPs.

I REALLY want to go on something like that... an overnight ghost hunt thing. Not a tour bus... a real investigation. Would be so kick ass. (zero fear)

This is a show we've always watched...as long as it's been on, and we've participated in such tours with a group here locally called "Big Bend Ghost Trackers" - in fact....I had, at one time, taken an assload of pictures for them and had them up on their web site (goto http://bigbendghosttrackers.homestead.com/files/hhw.htm and look at the bottom, the link is now dead) but I've been on several - it's fun.

Watched it on DVR last night. Great episode! I must say when Grant gets spooked like that it really means something because he is not one to exaggerate. Especially interesting that he "felt" something bad in there.

Here is me with the Ghost Hunters on the Queen Mary in December:

I recorded it but something was up with my recorder.... grr! Luckily they run them on their web site, so I'll watch today.

you know, I don't know how you guys felt, but I thought GH International SUCKED. I hated it. It's like they took the most annoying cast members and put them into one show (well, Brian and Andy anyway). The stuff they'd capture, you could NEVER see it, hear it or anything. Brian thinks EVERYTHING is haunted.

Jason n' Grant all the way.

Yes, and they are so cool! It was one of the most fun things I did last year. If you ever get a chance to go to one of their outings it is well worth it, they hang around the whole time so you get to chat with them and hang with them in the bar, etc. The events are generally listed at:

Lol. I talked to Grant about the sheet pulling thing. I called it the Erica Frost incident (she was the sensative on the ship that gave them the tour and looked way suspicious). They werent filming an episode, they were speakers at a paranormal conference on the Queen Mary.

Thanks for the link Eric. If anyone lives near or is in the Philadelphia area, Eastern State Penetentiary opens for tours again in april and it is well worth checking out the tours and programs that they offer.
Hopefully there will be another Taps convention down there this year. I heard last years was really awesome and this years is sold out.

Dunno if you would be runnin and screamin if you hear some footsteps following you just behind you at close proximity and see some pebbles being thrown at yer path without seeing anyone around. the idea that it's dark is creepy enough, even for 3 grown up guys to handle. oh crap, I'm getting the chills while typing this.

GH Drinking Game- Play it next week!

Postby brywool » Sat Mar 08, 2008 11:36 am

My wife and I made up the TAPS drinking game-

You take a drink during all of the following:

When EVPs are explained

When Steve's afraid of Bugs

When Brian gets yelled at (Better for previous seasons)

When Jason mispronounces a word (Ecscape, for example)

When Grant says "What the Feg?"

When Brian says "Did you hear that (or feel that)?"

When Kris says something about an old boyfriend

When Kris speaks and you can't understand a word

Basically, after these, you're shitfaced!

I've had a tin can rotate 360 degrees in front of me, not a circle, but in a tight 360 in the same spot. I can handle anything after that.

Went on a ghost tour at a local theater and the Paranormal Society that conducted the tour said that some of the evidence on the show is staged...When I asked for examples they didn't respond. The tour was okay....caught a couple of purple orbs on camera and smelled lilac perfume (favorite scent of the lady who fell off the balcony).....

Also on the opening show, they caught a voice saying, "Can I have some water, sir?" about the same time one of the crew was drinking water....Love this show and Most Haunted.

One night, I was missing my friend Kelly so much...I was really angry and crying and just basically screaming "at her", DEMANDING to know why she didn't take care of herself.... :(

Then, I realized how insane I must've sounded (to my apartment NEIGHBORS ), and got myself together....saying to myself, "She's dead; she's NOT coming back - she CAN'T come back....just get it together..."

 ...and right after I said that, the mop and broom that were propped up in the corner of my bathroom FELL OVER...I watched it as it happened!

The next time I go home to Philly, I'm going to see whether or not I can do a night tour of Eastern State. Booyah.
