Are you going to buy Journey's newest CD when it comes out this summer?

If so, what has you sold/excited/hyped on the album... or are you like me and buy anything with the Journey logo on it?

If not... why?

I own every album that Journey has ever released (Yes even that piece of shit Red 13) and this album will be no exception! I think a part of me is really excited just because it's someone new and I want to see what they're capable of. I had the same feeling with Augeri after I heard "Remember me" on the radio. I couldn't wait to get that album home, tear the wrapper off and start flipping through the songs!!!

I don't know where (Musically) this album is going to fall. Anything is better than Red13 or Generations to me. I was a HUGE fan of Arrival, so if this is more of the same...so be it! I'm just glad they're still making albums and supporting them. I think we're all going to look back in just a few years and think "Damn I miss Journey, and I wish they were still around!". We need to enjoy these last couple of years we have with them and make the most of it!

Absolutely without a doubt...

Its still Journey whatever happened in the past is the past....it is now the future...

I'm sure the CD will sound 1000% better than those youtube clips...some of them are horrendous...

I'm still so sad that I couldn't go to this show...but will try for a CA show....
Need a tour schedule to plan a trip....
Dean, can we sleep on your floor??? just kidding friend....I like nice beds in a nice hotel..

Hopefully we will get to see you and Lula and Wyatt some time this summer, one way or another...

Sounds like you all had a great time....

No. not now. Maybe in the future if they establish new hits, which I was ready to do with Jeff. For all I know Hulk Hogan could be the next singer. It would be fun to watch Neal fire Hulk, I have to admit !

NO....not interested in contributing to the Neal "need to pay bill paying accounts" on any account. I know Steve gets a share just for being part of the writing of most of the songs....but like he needs the money...NOT. I can click on YouTube if I get hankering to see what all the fuss is about. Sorry...JMO on this, but you asked.

Of course. It was never in doubt. Just because I didn't think Pineda was the right choice, does not mean Journey isn't still the greatest band in the world.

And I don't think they're just going to stick around a couple of years and call it a career. There is way too much money to be made, and Pineda is young enough that they could easily get 10 years out of him, if they don't overuse his voice.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I will because I want the dvd, after hearing Deen live on After The Fall and Mother Father! Watched the clip of AWYWI and thought AP did a great job on that one too.

I still miss what could've been though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEY_prV_RlA

As good as Deen is, Arnel blows him away Deb. It isn't even close.

Yes I will buy it.

Not so wild about "Wildest Dreams", but the ballad, "All These Years" (or whatever the name) is completely yay. Completely. The lyrics are fantastic... and Friga, like the way you dedicated it to us all. Smart move... but it fits and it is beautiful. You know, I think this album will kick ass. Kick. Ass. 8)
