Glad everyone made it home safely!!!! I was worried about you and Lynn, Mel.......

Thanks for the text, T!!!!!! I will call you later! 8)

I should have just gotten the mac and cheese.....I bet IT didn't come with mayonnaise!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it! Uneventful travels. We just did a bit of site seeing last night and we had the redeye. Oh!!!!! That night when we left you guys, we got back to our hotel, and I had no cell phone. I was sooo worried it fell out of my pocket and into the cab. I had no idea what cab company we rode in (gee, I wonder why) so we had to take a cab all the way back to PH to check the restaurant. Thank God they had it!!! So $30 of cab rides later, we went to bed and slept until 1pm. Needless to say, we extended out check out.

That's a bummer! Glad you got to sleep in!! We were just trying to get Dan to the airport.....he had to keep laying down to rest!!! Yesterday was a LONG day!! Here's to the next trip.....up north this time!!!! 8)

  I don't know how anyone with morning flights made it to the airport! I know I could have never done it.

yo, was nice to meet a lot of you MR people at the heart on bar. Only thing I regret is after seeing these posts now I know who some of you are I didn't say hey too now. Just gets overwhelming with all the noise and techno shit dance music in background. Have to just pretend you hear what someone is saying and nod your head a lot.
Hey Rhi? you ever smile? :D SJ tells a good LONG in depth story and Rip and wife are cool they just stole all the sweets off the buffet damnit. All this time I thought Rick was a black man FROM HIS SIG? WTH? Thank gawd the firefighter woman knows how to use a camera at 2 am, met T-time right at the end and maybe the rest next time, and of course there were others but I just got home, my brain is mush.
We had a late night sighting and it appears to be Arnel at the blackjack table, his possie around him with hat turned low, couldn't get close so took a far away pic.  you be the judge.

We sure did -- I got to sleep somewhere around 2am, was up at 5am, packed up and hopped a shuttle to the airport anticipating a long wade thru security -- there wasn't. We were checked in and got thru security in 15 minutes, and then waited for about 2 hrs. to board the flight. Luckily they had free WiFi, so the time passed very quickly!

HAHA! Yes, once I saw they had Baklava in the Middle East section, I got about 6 of them and ate every one (didn't actually intend on doing that), and the Mrs. got a few Creme Brulees... haha! Thanks for letting us sit with youse two!

Baklava is one of my favorites! I had a co-worker some years ago that would make it at home and bring in a sheet for us to eat in the office. She made it with raisins in it, which I loved it that way.

Sound's like everyone had an outstanding time in Vegas. And I was stupid and went out and watched a bomb of a movie instead :( Hope that there will be a next time so I can go.
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Ahh, so! I actually also had some SUSHI, but probably shouldn't have... Buffet sushi is rarely good unless you get it right after it's been rolled. The rice was kinda dried out... My favorite thing I got (aside from the baklava) was the skewered lamb and Tandoori chicken -- awesome!

By the way...think people aren't curious about this new lineup of Journey? Some of the view counts on these threads about Vegas are RIDICULOUS. This thread has nearly 8,000 views!

I've gotten that before. I'm just a big Richard Pryor fan. Was great meeting you and the pretty blond lady who's name I can't freakin' remember! I hate when I do that, and I do that a lot! My apologies.

Not sure of the name, but I've had some skewered chicken and lamb from middle eastern restaurants which is awesome. The best I've had so far is from places where the owners and cooks are from Afghanistan. Chances are I've had exactly what your talking about as far as the lamb and chicken.

As for the Buffet sushi, your absolutely correct. That crap is just that....crap. Not only is the rice dried out, but the fish is also. And they don't use the proper ingredients in making sushi correctly in most cases, first it's frozen fish, not fresh. And trust me, once you eat raw fish that's not been dead for more then three hours, you will taste and smell the different between the frozen stuff and the just killed stuff. And I'm also starting to notice that they use just plain rice, which the correct way is to boil it with a little bit of sweet vinegar added to give it a specific flavor. I'm also noticing that some places are cutting corners by not putting in a small layer of wasabi between the pillow of rice and the fish. Oh well, what to expect at a $10.99 all you can eat sushi and Chinese food buffet anyways.

If your the same Rick I remember when I first registered on this site, I never thought you were black, because back then you were using the "Blazing Saddles" avs and I've personally never met a black person who like that movie too much. With that said, I pretty much knew Rick wasn't black.

Sushi, If you'd been in Vegas, I'd wonder if you weren't speaking metaphorically about the hookers on the Strip.

LOL -- I thought the same thing! WIX is definitely super-cool, but surprisingly low-key in real life. I forewarned people I was much more low-key in person than on the board.

That's the way I think it is with most people, though I've absolutely never met anyone in person who I met on the net ever before. On a forum, people see how a person thinks mostly, but in person you get to see how they are physically. In person I'm very laid back. I keep relatively quiet and love to just kick back and watch people interact. My woman says that I'm a people watcher.

Hey, your one of the ones I was talking about, I figured it all out now, cool necklace you had on, now seeing your sig, it is a no brainer. So many people, and in many cases everyone assumes they know who each other is, but honestly that noise makes it hard to sit and meet the whole bunch.
Next time though. I figured the three of you younger dudes were the Body Guards for the chics

Gayle, Gail, gale um, sober helps, my voice feels like maybe sober would have been better. Was nice meeting you too.

The low key thing, yeah, back in 2002 I met some people in santa rosa at a show, the one chic said, geez, after all the poop, farting and taco bell jokes you make. I figured you were gonna be 350 pounds. Your actually look normal.................gee, thanks I guess. :D
