Really? God, I SO expected Don't Stop Believing, LTS... You know the rest. This might not be so bad then. At least it's not stuff that's been driven into the ground by constant touring and over playing. THIS kind of makes sense. Take old cuts that people MAY have heard earlier and redoing them, rather than taking their big hits and redoing them. If they had to record old material, I'm glad they did it this way. Some of these are some of their coolest songs (Lovin You is Easy and Eyes of a Woman are fantastic tunes! I WILL miss Smith's drum sound on EOAW). Can Do and Spaceman? weird.

I have been hesitant to adopt the new singer, but have been covering the band hopefully with some fair coverage.
I really like what I hear from these 3 new tunes. I just sent Neal and e-mail (we haven't communicated much since the departure of JSS) and congratulated him on the sound of the new tunes and promised to give the album a fair go.
If I really like it - then I'll consider myself converted.

Is this not true? I guess it isn't true, because I just don't see Perry EVER signing off on this, no matter how much money was in it for him!
