is there any chance steve perry or sony will put out another classic concert dvd, simialr to houston 81, i think philly 83 and a raised on radio concert were mention as being in the archives, the current journey will have the new cd and dvd this summer and after the attention for that dies out in a few months, maybe steve will want to put another vintage show out, as far as i am concerned i will get anything new and anything old with perry, but one or two more perry era shows are a must,

The ULTIMATE Journey Fan DVD Gift Set would be:
Houston 81
BOTH Philly Shows, in their entirety, from the Frontiers Tour
Mountain Aire ROR Show.
That's FOUR KILLER performances right there!!!
And hell, if they had any cameras rolling during the Departure tour,
throw one of those in there with an HSAS show for good measure

Also one from the Capital Center, Largo, Maryland for the departure tour. I like it better than the Japan one. Not quite as clear as the Japan show, but Perry interacts with the audience more on the Largo one.IMO, the best Journey line-up, just look at GR go on the organ, gawd I love Dixie Highway.

My top 2 choices would be the ROR Mountain Aire and the Largo, MD one cleaned up.

I meant the 2 big shows highlighted
at the end of the Frontiers & Beyond video.
Would that be the 2 JFK Stadium Shows in NY or NJ???

The '83 show in Philly was at JFK Stadium(which no longer exists) and the '86 shows in Philly were at the Spectrum. The 83 show was awesome, with Bryan Adams, John Mellencamp. Sammy Hagar and I think the Tubes. An all day event. I'll never forget it.

I JUST watched that. It was pretty good. Kind of dark. Wish I had a better quality version. If I had a good audio bootleg of it, I'd synch it up to the video. The video I have has TONS of his on it.
I haven't seen the Mt. Aire one before. Always wanted to.
Journey's preparing to release a new album, so you might get your wish. Seems like every time they do that, something from the classic line up is released at about the same time. Wouldn't want the new stuff to get noticed.

I do remember buying 5 dollar t-shirts in the parking lot and I remember it was pretty hot and Humid but it was a great way to cap off my junior year.
