I see this at least in this area regardless of the fact that the promoter for this area is a journey fan, it will be a smaller venue than the last few tours.

the ampitheatre venues that are in this state are not in the casinos. They hold about 5000 people.
I do not see a casino taking a chance on booking a 10,000 seat venue with a brand new singer and 2 bands that are not doing their biggest hits. The promoters are not going to book something like that if they are not sure it is going to sell. There are not THAT many high rollers and corporate sponsor tix to give away,. The general public carries a good part of those tix sales. If they plan to sell tix using the "journey" name and not tell anyone there is a new singer that is not only lame it is bad business. I know I for one will not be paying 275-325 for ilaa tix let alone broker tix for this tour package and if I had no internet access and was unaware of all the "drama" not to mention singer change I would not be very happy when the show started.
The ampitheatres might be 10,000 in other parts of the country however not in this area.
The largest is just under 5000. Being it is in the warmer months I think it is not looking like a casino show at least in this area.

Yeah, true...there are small amphitheatres in some places. But I think this tour will hit the traditional 10,000-20,000 seaters.

I think some places do have a larger seat capacity however I still think that they need to be honest who is singing and not let people think it is SP or SA and I do not see a promoter taking the chance to book this kind of show in a venue that is not going to sell tix. That means at least in this area I do not see it at the casino and will be VERY suprised if it is,
If it is at the venue I am thinking in this area I will most likely not attending as I do not care for that venue for location and other ie traffic reasons etc
