OT-How Much Are Those T-Shirts and Tour Programs Now?

Postby scarygirl » Fri Mar 14, 2008 11:21 am

Sunday, I'm going to my first real concert is years. Bon Jovi in Greensboro. Those that go regularly, how much are t shirts and shite? Do they accept plastic? LOL. Doubt I'll buy anything, but if they sell something reallly cool, I might think twice.

Are those the same as tour books with the pictures and stuff? That's what I really meant. I have a really cool one from their These Days tour. They don't make those anymore?

Thanks for the insight.

Another question, is it true they release extra tickets the day of show? In other words, is it possible to catch better tickets than you have at the box office day of show. Not counting the scalpers who stand outside. If they do, is it at base price?

Yes, once the stage layout is confirmed with the venue, the promoter will realize that there are more seats to be squeezed in, or a new sub-section can be created, and the final available seats will be announced. Probably doesn't happen often, but it does happen...and the prices aren't inflated, they're usually the same as the general area. Sometimes, people can get great seats at the last minute, sans scalpers or brokers, at the venue's box office.

I paid $40 for a tshirt last July. And truthfully they've had much better designed shirts in the past....it was pretty plain. :? LOL, I had my "Slippery" tour tshirt that my daughter was using as pajamas. It had the "Slippery When Wet" sign on the back and a pic of JBJ on the front. When one of her friends asked her who the girl was (on the front).........she quit wearing it.

Does that lipping Band have "slippery when wet" panties?"

Bon Jovi is an embarrassment. They are lucky I am not a fan, or I would bust their sorry asses for lippin!

Bruce buries these suckholes.

But have a great time Scary.
