Beautiful wording....Never thought of it that way.....I liked it. Nothing great. State of Grace was a great power ballad.

Agreed!Saint John wrote:Embarrassing part of the catalog.
Let's not forget to add "Generations" to that list!Saint John wrote: I was also pissed they deviated from the one word titles.
I hate to ruin a good story, but ever hear of "Trial By Fire" and "Raised On Radio"And didn't they have an album called "Look Into The Future" before Perry?

"State of Grace" is a flat-out rocker, not a power ballad. "Walking Away From the Edge" is a power ballad.
I agree with the production, Walking Away was a good song {for me} I like Augeri s vocals and the words to this song were great. Nobody in the band wrote the words, thats why they were goodAndrew wrote:Ok songs...horrible production.

Generations was about as deep as a fucking puddle. I'd rather shit shards of glass than listen to any song on that album.

You can throw it out there all day long dude, and it's not sticking to the wallThe only advice I can really give you is to raise your standards
I felt physically sick when I heard Neal, Cain, and Valory pretending to be Perry! It was a complete embarrassment to the Journey name. I couldn't think of a higher level of disrespect to the Journey name then letting "The Three Stooges" sing lead, and attaching the name Journey to the recording...Simply unacceptable!
