I got bored one day and decided to rank every Journey to see, pound for pound, what my favourite album was.

Suprsingly ROR comes out as the album with the highest mean score, and Escape is alot lower than i would of thought.

What really shocked me is that Arrival has more of my favourite Journey songs than any other album, hmm

ProgRocker,

I do appreciate those first three albums (as I'm sure you must, due to your screen name). The song "Look Into the Future" is absolutely stellar!
However, whenever I hear the live versions that they did of those tunes after Perry joined (Saturday Night, She Makes Me Feel Alright, Next, On Your Own), I can't help but wish that Perrys soaring vocals were on those earlier albums, as FOR ME, that would have taken those songs to a whole nutha level.

I think you have to give consideration to how the songs were ordered on each album too. Feeling that Way to Anytime to LaDoDa to Patiently has a great flow to it. I remember just about wearing out my older sister's copy of Infinity side 1 listening to these.

On the other hand, Chain Reaction just breaks the flow of Frontiers side 1 for me.
