An Ill-forgotten Anniversary needs recognition...

Postby venomnation » Mon Mar 17, 2008 11:09 pm

Anyone realize what May of 2008 marks?

I'll give you a few hints.

1) Notice the topic doesn't say "OT".
2) Roy Thomas Baker, the dude who took Queen to stellar heights with...
3) To.....and beyond!

That's right...how many people recalled that May 2008 marks 30 YEARS since the debut of Steve Perry in Journey (on an album anyway). I think it's well deserving of a small bit of recognition, even if the band WON'T...we should.

But...just think! It could've been "Oh, Kimmie" instead of Sherrie! Oh the missed opportunity....heck, I'd still be getting residuals. I'd have worn something better in the video, though. And acted like I cared if he kissed me. And make sure my hair was done.

You know, stuff like that! :D :D :D

The best Journey album ever! I remember playing it over the phone for my now ex-wife when it came out. What a great time for music.
