OT: John Adams HBO

I normally only watch sports, discovery channel and A&E and wanted to cancel HBO after Sopranos was over, but I made a point to watch John Adams last night.

HBO showed the first 2 episodes last night. 1st episode was a little slow, but the 2nd episode really got going. If you didn't watch it they will be replaying tonight and throughout the week. I thought the 2nd episode was phenomenal. There will be 7 total episodes in this mini-series.

The book on which it is based is great as well. It is long and can be a little slow, but it is amazing to see how difficult it was to form a nation 200+ years ago.
