Well I doubt most of those would ever get answered. But I must admit that #4 would interest me. However, I think we already know the answer because Steve did "announce" that the band was going to take time off and he was going to spend time with his son before he went off to college. I always considered that the way Steve was trying to push the issue that he needed rest.

I think #6 WAS Deen, although it seems like that might have dissolved since his ouster.

They were all on board from the beginning! Nobody gets their arm twisted into perpetrating a fraud on their paying public, regardless of what Augeri or any of them say!

Yes...I told Neal and Company that I simply couldn't sing the catalog, and their response was something like "Thank god we have Jeff on speed dial"

5) When JSS took over, did you really feel it was an interim solution and that you would eventually be back once recovered?

Anyone who felt like Augeri's departure was "interim" had their head up their ass! EVERYONE (except the wiggle whack jobs from Jackass Talk) knew Augeri wasn't coming back to Journey

6) Who in the band were you closest too and do you still have contact with anyone associated with the group?

If I were a betting man, I would say Augeri was closest to Deen, because they were both "The new guy". He's also very fond of all the screwballs at Jackass Talk, who drool over his red leather pants

7) When they unceremoniously dumped JSS, did you ever reach out to him?

Yes, we decided to start a support group and call it "Journey Departed". It's going really well, and we suspect that we'll have a new member by the end of 2008

Have you listened to any of the Arnel show tapes? Thoughts?

9) Will you sing Journey songs in the future as you tour?

Absolutely not. With my vast and endless solo catalog, there is no reason for me to pretend that I'm still a member of Journey. They "cracked the stone", and I'm moving forward

10) How did your wife react to the fiasco?

She is just happy she doesn't have to compete with the Wiggle Whack Jobs any longer! She also asked that I refrain from wearing my red leather pants, and her white blouse in public, any longer
