I fear a lot of bad is going to come from this interview.
Nothing will ever come close to tapegate.

Like what...the truth? While I certainly don't believe just because Herbie Herbert says something it's the truth, I am more likely to believe a guy that doesn't pry away inalienable rights and make others sign gag orders. And if Perry doesn't read the internet why should this be a problem? Or are you openly admitting that his Loonball followers are about as mentally fragile as easter eggs in a hurricane?

No, I am saying that NOT everything Herbie says is Gospel. The mere fact that he still hates certain members, after what, 15 years, is the reason I won't necessarily take his word as truth. Ironically, the one guy who brought the money and fame to this band, and who happens to be as headstrong as Herbie, seems to get a lot of heat from the triple Cheeseburglar.
Dan, I used to write what you now write. I too was pissed at Steve for not singing, and I would blame him for this and that, but came to realize that I was wrong. Perry is not the blame all; sure he had some low points, but I doubt he is as bad as HH is going to say he is.
This whole thing is just going to throw grease on the fire. I can still remember Perry graciously commending Herbie Herbert at the Hollywood WOF ceremony. He is the only member to do so. I see Steve Perry as the only one who has seriously grown up and moved on. Herbie seems to hold a grudge against everyone.
I am torn on this, for real.

Liquid_Drummer wrote:Something very organic. Lose the pianos and synths that he has had on most of his stuff. A lot of acoustic guitars and a very warm production. I am not really a Dixie Chicks fan however their album Home had some incredible feeling stuff. VERY organic recording and SO DAMN WARM and no drums the whole time but you would never know it. That type of production with his vocals... I would love to hear something like that from him.

I'm sure that there is some truth to many of his stories.

Well, I'd certainly buy whatever he put out...
I probably wouldn't have to buy it exclusively at WalMart.

The guy told the truth for once. Big deal. You've become so used to him doing otherwise that when he actually makes sense or tells the truth you deem it necessary to throw him a Scooby Snack. Pathetic, at best.

Let's hope Perry doesn't keep any pet rabbits in his yard...
